I not only draw, I do photo paint-overs, pixel art, painting [although it's all abstract] and WRITING! Since you have a photo manipulation thread, I thought I would put up some of my paint-overs and manipulations! A paint-over is a picture I put into OpenCanvas and then use layers to paint over the subject. I then delete the original image out from under it and smudge and blur the picture so that it looks like a digital painting.  This was originally a picture of ME, that has been HEAVILY modified to look like my alter-ego, Izzy.  This is my best friend, and this was my birthday gift to her since I'm broke and didn't have the money to BUY her something. Lucky for me, she adores it, heh.  This is myself and my fiance'. Yes he always makes that face when he hugs me. He's been in love with me since High School, and the same applies to me for him, I was just afraid that...since we were friends if we got together and then broke up it would ruin our friendship. A year ago the Feb. 20th, I decided I was tired of living in fear of what could be the best thing ever to happen to me and snogged him on his brother-in-law's front porch.  This is my little brother, Drew, whom we all call DREWSKI! He is sadly, currently in jail for a crime he didn't commit, but courtesy of the three idiot friends of his who DID commit said crime dragging him along for the last half hour of the crime, he's locked up for it too. And I miss him to death! No he doesn't have a weirdly fat face, part of it is the weird way I painted over the image and part of it is also because when I took this picture...he had a mouth full of food LOL.  And to round this all off, the purposefully sketchy paint-over! This darling creature is a La Lumiere, or for lack of any better terminology, a Light Demon. This here is Leeloominai and I love her sweet naive little soul to death. She's a doll-baby. This is based on a picture of me that is again, heavily modified, but the original isn't around anymore, sadly. Once I do more, I shall update this thread....so...let me know whatcha think!!! |
