Name: Tenebrae Nickname: Tenebie Dragon type: European Age: 16 Gender: Female Clan: Kukiron Position: Deltess Magic (Strength) Wind: Very Strong Water: Mastered Ice: Strong Fire: Basic Appearance: Tenebrae has scales that are so thin and small, they look and act like fur. She’s colored a deep blue, but often mistaken for black. She has a pale blue delta symbol (little triangle outline) on each cheekbone, with similar patterns on her claws. Her eyes are pale purple, close to lavender. Her wings are a lighter shade than her scales but are still dark in color and are feathered. There is a faint white birthmark on her left temple in the shape of a feather. She is pleasant to look at, but nothing you’d die for. Personality: Tenebrae is quiet and practical, but will still have fun and loosen up. She doesn’t talk much until you get to know her. She stands up for what she believes in, but she does it quietly. She thinks before she acts and observes her surroundings constantly. Others think that she is really very wise, but in truth, she just uses her common sense more than others. She enjoys nothing more than a long flight over the sand. She has a good singing voice, but she doesn’t use it much. History: Tenebrae’s parents died of an odd and unknown disease that only affected adult dragons, leaving the young 2-dragon-year-old wyrmling confused and alone. She wandered the land for a dragon year, eating berries and plants, before a dragon found her. He called her “Tenebrae”, the name of his recently deceased mate. He taught her how to hunt and fly. He cared for her until she was 6, then left. Tenebrae had seen the fact that his mate had died, and it had shaken him so badly that he had to be alone. Tenebrae roamed the land once more and was befriended by a small band of humans. She did not realize that they were merely trying to use her for a spell. She understood the danger she was in once they marked her face and claws with magic. As she fled, the magic sunk into her skin, making the marks impossible to remove. She no longer trusts humans of any kind. Again, she roamed the land with no home. A passing rouge took pity on her, and taught her some magic. He also told her of a place called Selzar, where humans had never lived. Once he had told her the way, she began making her way towards Selzar. She found it when she was 10. Since she had entered Selzar from the north, the Kukiron clan was the closest to her and it was this clan that she joined. She has proved her value over and over Picture: None Other: Tenebrae can tell how many deaths someone has seen by looking at their eyes. If it was the death of someone dear to their heart, she can tell the relation between the deceased and whoever has the eyes she’s looking at, but nothing more. She usually doesn’t tell the person that she knows this. |
