Scourge stormed to the entrance of the cave of Suni looking angrier than a hornet. A bird had been flying over his head earlier when it decided to do its business, and, well the white spot on scourge's head that resulted made him hopping mad. Instead of his usual way of blowing off steam he chose to start a fight. he hadn't been in one in at least 3 weeks and he liked fighting. Scourge yelled into the cave "If anyone is in there come on out and fight!" then he leaned against the wall near the cave mouth and waited for someone to show. for a second he felt as if he was being watched, so he shifted his position to where he could see both in and out of the cave. |

The red figure descended from the skies slowly. Fershya had been bored and she heard of ice caves, so she decided to check them out. Fershya hit the ground with a low thump, and while doing so, a red dragon in the ice caves caught her eye. He shouted into the cave, and after that he turned around. Fershya thought he was pretty small, and he looked like he was angry. Fershya yawned, folding her wings. Though the dragon looked agressive, he also looked pretty harmless at the same time. Not anything she couldn't handle. After having fought off an entire group of males who were bigger than her she would most probably be able to fight off this dragon. Fershya walked towards the cave, as if she was about to walk right past him into the ice caves. |

Scourge had seen the other dragon immediately after it landed but it barely looked at him, it was older than him and likely quite powerful but anger surged through Scourge's body and he didn't put any thought to the mater. He waited for the dragon to walk by him which it appeared to be doing. the Drogoness was right next to him in the cave entrance when he stuck, he reached out with an extremely strong arm and dug his claws into her flesh. he quickly sent a surge of lightning through the open wound and said "that, should leave a mark bigshot." |

Fershya felt the claw dug into her side, but didn't wince, as she had endured worse pain. As soon as she felt energy coming together in the air she prepared her own lightening magic. The other dragon had barely made the lightening or Fershya had already started redirecting it towards his eyes. She turned her head, bit his paw as hard as she could, and put her heavily muscled left paw under his mouth and pushed it away. Her golden eyes looked at him furiously; She had done nothing to deserve this sudden attack. She breathed in deeply while holding onto his paw and breathed fire onto his paw. |

Frostica woke up suddenly from her snooze. She had sensed unusual heat coming from the outer entrance of the caves of Suni. With growing uneasiness, she walked through the tunnels toward the entrance. The heat grew as she came forward into the tunnel that led into the entrance. She quickly used her ice magic to coat herself in more ice, fearing that she would melt because of the heat. As she peered into the cave, she gasped. Two large dragons were fighting, and both of them seemed to be using intense fire magic. Both were red, and the larger one, a dragoness, seemed to be winning the battle. Frostica winced with the thought of what pain the smaller dragon must be enduring as the dragoness bit down on his paw. Although he was muscular, Frostica didn't think he could win this battle. So she decided to help him. Quick as she could, she created an ice wall between the two dragons, knocking the larger one off the smaller one. She created more ice walls, sealing the entrance to the caves. However, Frostica knew of another entrance, on that she had discovered a few days earlier. She hoped the ice walls would keep the dragoness at bay just long enough so she could lead the other dragon far away from her. "Hey!" she called to the smaller dragon. "Come over here! I can help you escape!" Hesitating, she then called out again, "But please stop covering yourself with fire... I'll melt!" Realizing that she had exposed her weakness to fire, Frostica now really hoped that the dragon she was helping was friendly, which he probably wasn't after she had just seen him fighting another dragon... She sighed, thinking of the dilemma she was in now. At least, if he tried to come after her, she could run far into the caves; she knew them better than he did. |

Scourge had been tangled with the large dragoness when it was knocked backward by a wall of ice. He heard another dragon talking to him and turned their was another small dragoness perhaps 10 years of age ushering for him to follow her int the cave. he limped over to the other dragon as blood driped from the corner of his mouth which had been badly cut. He was astonished to discover she was made of ice. He quickly put out his blanket of flame and stared at her, she had saved his life but... "why?" Scourge wondered aloud and waited calmly for an answer, he was no longer in a bad mood. the fight had made him forget why he had been mad in the first place. |

As there suddenly was a wall of ice between her and the other dragon, she fell backwards. "What the..?!" She recovered her position quickly. Was the other dragon capable of using ice magic? She heard someone talking, and she turned to the sound. She had found that the other dragon hadn't been knocked back. Through all the ice walls she could see a figure of a dragoness, but not very clearly. The red dragon didn't seem to know the mysterious dragon. Fershya blew out hard once. She turned her head towards her cut on her left flank, and licked it. It was bleeding heavily. It was nothing she hadn't had before, but it was a severe wound anyways. As the adrenaline from the attack ebbed away, Fershya started noticing the pain from the wound. She shot a fiery look at the other dragon. If this would turn into a scar, she surely hoped her bite would leave him a scar. She lied down, her first priority now her wound. Her raw tounge licked the blood around the fresh open wound away. Her flesh burned slightly. She desperately wanted to clean her wound, as it didn't feel right to her. He probably doesn't wash his claws, the dirty bastard... She used her fire magic to warm some of the ice wall, melting it to water. She then used her water magic to guide the water on the wound. It flushed the blood away and cleaned the wound up. Fershya sighed and turned to look at the other two dragons. |

Frostica watched, tensing, as the red dragon she had just saved limped over to her. Was he going to attack her after she had saved his life? She relaxed, seeing that he had put out the flames covering his body. He didn't seem to want to fight. She heard him mumble aloud "why?" and assumed the question was for her. "Are you asking me why I saved you?" she asked. "I saved you because I just can't watch a dragon suffer without trying to help." she went on. Noticing the blood dripping from the wound on the corner of his mouth, her eyes widened, and Frostica added, "If I had healing magic, I would heal that, but since I don't... it will have to heal on its own. I wish I could help..." Her voice faded as she looked away, the memories of the only battle she had ever fought clouding her mind. The dragon she had fought was also red, and had very powerful fire magic. Enough to kill her... She shook her head to clear her mind of the terrible memory, and glanced through the walls of ice she had just created. The dragoness was lying down, cleaning her wound. Still looking at the dragoness, Frostica said, "I'm afraid I don't know your name. Mine is Frostica. What is yours?" |

"My name is Xourgex, most call me scourge" this was scourge's instant response to the Dragoness named Frostica"s question. he felt the side of his mouth to discover that the skin had been torn back and was steadily bleeding. "I thank you for what you did, I would have come out of that looking really bad." "I don't want to be a bother but if you could help me away from this entrance to the cave before that other Dragoness comes back and breaks the wall." |

Fershya saw them talk, and she was quite bored again. She had wanted to go into the ice caves to explore them when that thoughtless dragon had attacked her. She stood up, very calmly, and burned a hole through the ice wall, only large enough for her to just fit through. She pulled her wings tightly to her side and went through the hole. Her face wasn't hostile, on the contrary. She was amused about the fact that the red dragon had initiated the fight and now cowared off. She had nothing against the ice dragon, as she hadn't done anything but make the ice wall. She kept on closing the distance between her and the other two dragons. Fershya looked at the red male dragon. "Hey, if you ever want a revanche, just come look for me." Fershya grinned. "And, if you don't mind.." And if you do.. "..I'm going to explore the caves as was my intention before he attacked me." She said, while looking at the ice dragoness and while making a gesture to the other red dragon. Fershya's face showed slight signs of irritation while thinking of the sudden attack. |

"I've lived in these caves for my whole life, so I know my way through them. I can get you to another entrance I found so you'll be able to escape the dragoness..." Frostica suddenly noticed movement, out of the corner of her eye, through the ice walls and turned her head toward them. She watched, alarmed, as the dragoness burned a hole through the ice walls and started to approach them. Was she going to attack both of them? Frostica stood motionless in fright as the red dragoness came closer. The scene reminded her of another memory, of one far more terrible... The memory flooded her mind before she could clear her head of it... A large red dragon was advancing toward her, his yellow eyes burning with anger. "This was the first--and is the last--time you will ever flee from me!" he said with a furious snarl. "You will have to pay the price!" In her memory, Frostica had recoiled, but still couldn't run from the red dragon. She was frozen in fright as the furious dragon opened his mouth and a huge fireball was shot toward her... At the last second, she somehow found the strength to move again, and dodged the fireball, feeling the intense heat just brush her side, melting part of it. She knew she would never win against him, so she quickly turned to flee into the caves... But as she turned, her tail swung around and ripped through the dragon's side. He roared in rage and pain, and Frostica watched helplessly as he ran to the opening of the cave, disappearing from sight. She ran to the entrance and just managed to glimpse him rising into the air. "I'll never, ever, come back, Frostica!" he roared. "You can go and starve in those caves, you vile dragon!" Then he flapped his wings and flew off, never to come back... Tears ran down Frostica's cheeks, then froze there. Coming back to the present, she suddenly noticed that the red dragoness was walking through the hole in the last ice wall. Frostica watched as she talked to them both, then spoke up. "I know the way through some of the caves." she said, then adding, "It's really easy to get lost in here, though. There's so many tunnels..." Realizing that she didn't know who the dragoness was, she said, "My name's Frostica. What's yours?" |

To Fershya's horror, the dragoness began to cry after having probably re-lived something from her past. That wasn't supposed to happen.. After all, she's just a child. Her face turned difficult, as did her gaze. It was a shame she had never had any eggs of her own. Ah well, just never found the right dragon for the job. She snapped back to reality and found that the young dragoness was talking to her. She heard the question, and merely answered out of automatism. "Fershya." Her voice was calm, but there was nothing nice about it. The past few years had turned Fershya into a totally different dragoness. Everything had changed about her; her attitude, her voice, even her eyes peered at the world with bitterness. [I was bored. I'm sorry to have spoken before my turn. king killer, feel free to post right after this and after dragongirl88's answer.] |

Scourge watched the other two dragons talk he was ashamed to have started the fight in the first place finally he spoke with a guilty worried voice "I apologize for my rude attack, I was in a very bad mood and... well, my anger often gets the better of me, If there is some way to make you believe me... " Scourge was nervous and ashamed. he looked at the large dragoness apologetically hoping that she would not be to angry at what he had done. he glared into the dragoness's eyes and realized something that felt strange the bitter dragoness seemed like she did not feel the way she acted. Something gave her a bitter personality something eating her out from the inside , this dragon had been changed... (I was waiting for you to reply in the first place I felt that Scourge wouldn't be quick to speak go right ahead I'd rather you respond first )

Frostica watched as Fershya's expression changed after seeing her remember the terrible memory. "Does she think that she caused the memory to be recalled?" she thought. "It wasn't her fault, anyway. Sooner or later I would have to face it again. It couldn't stay buried in the back of my mind forever." Frostica noticed that Scourge was apologizing about the battle that had just been fought, and another thought came to her mind. "I was wondering how the fight started, anyway." Frostica said to both of them. "What happened before I came?" she asked. (OOC: Sorry that it's short, I just can't think of anything else to say.) |

Fershya let out a small "Hah." She peeked at the red dragon while she felt her wound burn. "The only thing I know is that I was curious about this cave, and that when I tried to enter the cave, he attacked me. But I think it's better like this. If you hadn't come in between I probably would've had to kill him." She said that last sentence with a mocking, pitiful tone, but her eyes betrayed that she was actually satisfied with the fact that she didn't have to do it. Fershya looked away, knowing very well that eyes never lied. But instead of looking at down, her gaze had frozen to a white thing in the sky. It was circling, and then it seemed to lose height. She decided it was nothing worth paying attention to, so she turned back to the dragoness of which she forgot the name and the red one. "Anyways, I really don't have time for this, er.., Frost..." For a second it seemed like she was mentally going through the names she knew, but then she shook her face, deciding that it was irrelevant. She probably wouldn't see her again, so what use did it have to know her name? "Whatever. I don't have all day, you know." Her voice had turned harsh. It had been a long time since she had had such a long conversation with someone. |

Scourge listened to Frostica's question and was about to respond but the large dragon named Fershya broke in and answered. she began with a truthful answer which Scourge regreated, but then the Large dragoness spoke unkindly to young Frostica, so unkindly that scourge's fists clenched automatically "how could she talk that way to such a kind little dragoness" was all he could think. "That bastard better get out of here soon or I'm gonna kill her for being so rude to Frostica." Scourge muttered under his breath. Then Scourge Just sat there silent glaring at Fershya, his blood boiling under his skin. |

Hearing Fershya's harsh tone, Frostica quickly stepped aside so Fershya, if she wanted to, could go into the entrance to the caves. "It's hard not to get lost in there," she said, "when there's so many tunnels to take. Even though I've lived here my whole life, I still get lost in them sometimes." Frostica's eyes darted to the white figure flying outside. "Is that a dragon?" she wondered. She took her eyes off the circling creature and noticed that Scourge was glaring at Fershya. "Is he going to attack her again?" Frostica wondered, a little worried. "I would have to break up the fight again, and i'm not sure if I have enough energy..." That was true. She hadn't eaten since yesterday, and all those ice walls she had created earlier had used up most of her energy to make. Trying to get Scourge's mind off of perhaps attacking Fershya for the second time, she asked both of them, "Are either of you from the clans I've heard about? I think there's three of them, the Furick, Juthivar, and Kukiron clans, and that the dragons in the clans have different jobs like hunting, healing, leading the clan... Things like that. Where do the clans live?" |

Fershya noticed that the other red dragon was already angry again. She saw that the ice dragoness stepped aside for her. "Er.. Thank you for your concern. I won't go in very far." She eyed the red dragon and rolled her eyes. She passed very closely by the ice dragoness. "I'd stay away from him if I were you. He has some serious self-control problems. He might just burn you accidentally." Fershya made a nice face and smiled at the ice dragoness before turning to the caves. She gave the red dragon one last look before walking calmly into the caves. |

meanwhile, Sari has been flying for a long time, and her energy is getting low, so she circles what looks to be a large island of ice. She's been using her wind magic to carry her back from her latest foray back to the Eastern Lands. She had fled quickly after seeing the first born of her nest mates, who is still three times her size. She's been soaring for nearly two weeks in a rush to get away without stop for food or rest. as she circles over the island of ice, she soars lower and lower. she sees the entrance to a cave in the ice and angles so that she can soar to land on the ledge just inside the hole to the cavern. when she lands, she looks up and recoils in fear at seeing two obviously older dragons. she starts to think that maybe landing here wasn't such a good idea, but her magic energy had run out the second her small feet hit the ice floor. so she waits in fear for what these Westerns will do to her, a runt of an Eastern dragon. |
