Ivory had been flying for hours since he had been chased from his home by an older dragon. His wings were growing tired as he heard the roar of a waterfall. He knew that a waterfall meant caves and that maybe he had found a new home. He flies harder to reach the falls before he becomes to tired. He comes upon the falls as the sun is setting. Looking at the falls from the air he sees a darker spot about halfway up the falls. Tucking his wings and hoping he is right he shoots toward the spot. Ivory closes his eyes as he hits the water hoping he won't smash into a stone wall. He is through the water and isn't hurt, he opens his eyes to find himself flying into a pretty nice sized cave. Ivory lands and starts to look around the cave, he cant smell any other dragon's scent which tells him that no one else was living here. Ivory pokes his head out through the water running over the caves entrance to look around at the area. The area around the falls looks like a perfect place to live. He pulls his head back in and looks around the cave again taking in the water carved walls that had crystals scattered here and there throughout them. 'I think I could enjoy staying here for a while, at least untill someone else runs me off,' He thinks as he lays down and curls up to sleep for the night. Ivory is awoken by the sunlight streaming in through the water. Standing up and stretching he gets ready to go and hunt for the day. As he prepares to jump out into the air he sees a shadow pass by the entrance. Ivory cautiously walks to the cave entrance and peeks out to see who it is wondering if he would have to find another new home so soon. |

It had been a while since Nira had returned to the Falls of Vervion. the last time she was here, was when she had been accepted into the Kukiron clan, which was the second happiest moment of her life. her deep violet scales glismed and gleamed through the streaks of sunlight that poured through the sheet of white cirrus clouds that had formed themselve way up in the upper atmosphere, far higher in altitude that any dragon dare fly. The lack of pressure, and the lack of oxygen at that height would cause a dragon or dragoness to black out, and falling from that distance would be an instant death. She quickly shook her head to rid her of that thought as the last thing that she wanted to thing about right now was death. She cleared all the thoughts from her mind as she soon started to hear the roaring sound of the falls as the water poured out of the lake cascading through it's three suspended ponds. The sun was approaching the dawn hour when she had finally come to the falls as it was about a day's flight from her cave in Kukiron. There is someone else here. She thought to herself as she picked up the scent of another dragon in the area. She angled her wings to form a graceful descent follow the scent to one of the caves that rested about midway up the falls in between the first adn second cascading ponds. She angled herself a bit higher than the cave on entry as the force of the waterfall pushed her down a bit into the cave where she had to react quickly to keep from slamming into the other dragon slamming herself into the side of the cave putting a four inch tear in the membrane of her right wing and scraping up her side as well with whaat appeard to be four ling scratches that were started to bleed. She Gingerly puush herslef up noticing a cut on her leg now as well. I guess that shows me to look before I dive into something She thought to herself as she looked at the other dragon. I am so sorry, I picked up the scent of another dragon that led me here, but I had no idea that you would be at the caves edge like that. I didn't injure you did I? She asked not completely sure as to whether or not she actually hit him. |

Ivory catches a glimpse of violet as the dragon flies into the cave he quickly backs up to avoid being hit as the dragon, which he now knows is female, hits the wall of the cave. 'That had to hurt,' He thinks as she stands up slowly. "I am so sorry, I picked up the scent of another dragon that led me here, but I had no idea that you would be at the caves edge like that. I didn't injure you did I?" she asks. "No, I'm okay," he says cringing at the sound of his voice. He hates his voice its very feminine sounding, it sounds like bells. 'I hope she won't hurt me,' he thinks as he backs away a bit, while trying to make himself as small as possible. |

(Your whole post should be in the past tense, you keep alternating between past and present, and it can be a bit confusing. Also, I know that you Character is male, but Mine is going to think it's a she at the moment.)) Nira could feel the running along her wing and side as it seeped from her open wounds. I need to get these rinsed soon so they don't get infected. She thought to herself as she listed to the other dragon. The other dragon told her that she had missed him, which relieved her, in a voice that was pure in tone, like a bell or something of the sort. This dragon also was stunningly beautiful. Her scales were Silvery-white, and the light gave her a golden shimmer. The two pale blue crystals, and the light blue eyes only added to her beauty. Nira was now even more relieved as it would be a sin of the hieghest degree to injure something as beautiful as her. Though Nira's heart saddened when after the dragon had looked at her, it curled up into a small ball-like shape as he backed away from her. Once again, my past has caught up with me, I can only wonder what hurt I ended up causing this dragon. She then walked over to the dragoness and brushed her with her snout, Hey, it's okay... You don't need to be afraid of me anymore, I've changed. She told her then gathering up a bit of courage telling her, And whatever I did before in the past that has caused you pain, I am eternaly sorry for. I wish so badly that I could take bake all the hurt I caused. She told her hoping that she would understand that Nira had no desire to hurt her. What is you name young dragoness? She asked her still under the impresstion that she was talking to another female. |

Ivory was confused and he was sure it showed, what did she mean, she never hurt him, in fact he has never met her before today. He slowly uncurled so that he could look at her better. "you didn't hurt me, and my name is Ivory," he said looking at her oddly. "are you alright," he asked noticing that she was bleeding quite a lot from her wounds. "Wait did you say dragoness," He asked finaly catching on to exactly what she'd said. 'She thinks I'm a female, wait do I realy look that feminine,' He thought feeling even more embarassed.

(Deleting two OOC posts) Nira listened to the dragoness as she told her that she hadn't hurt her, and it made Nira confused. Why would she be afraid of me unless she knew about me or I had done something to her, unless almost colliding with her had shaken her up in which she could understand. She probably thought that it was an attack at first, but surely after Nira asking her if she was alrgiht she would have realized that wasn't the case. She started to take a step back to allow the dragoness some more room, and lines of stinging pain rippled through her from the cuts and scrapes allong her side. she turned her neck around to inspect the damage that had been done, and it appeared that the major tear in her wing was the most severe of her injuries as the the scrapes on the side of her bode had caked with blood and had scabbed over and it was still bleeding at a somewhat moderate pace. I'll be fine, I've been through a lot worse than this before. She said turning to reveal the long scar on the right side of her neck and body, thought it was difficult to notice because of the blood off of her wing. Then another bomb shell hit her when the dragon asked her if she said dragoness before when she was refering to him earlier. Oh my god!, I am so embarressed right now. She thought to herself with her cheeks starting to turn an even darker purple from her bluching. I am so sorry. You're just so beautiful, and you voice was so elegant I thought you were female. She told him before adding, And I'm sorry if I scared you when I dove in here. I honest have absolutely no intentions of harming anyone. And I feel really bad for many reasons right now, and I'm really sorry for addressing you the way I did. She told him hoping that he wouldn't go away. All she wanted was another friend. |

Ivory blushed slightly at bing called beautiful, "thanks," he said shyly. "I'm sorry i reacted the way I did its just i'm not used to anyone talking to me they usually attack first," he said looking away fom her sadly. "You see i'm not like other dragons, I'm a hybrid, a mix of silver, white, and gold dragons, thats why I was abandoned when I hatched four years ago and why everyone I meet tries to kill me, or run me away," he said while thinking 'i am so pathetic no wonder no one likes me'. |

Nira listened as Ivory told her that he was sorry for acting out the way he did, and told her that it was mostly because when he was met by others in the past they would normally attack him or chase him away just because he was a hybrid. She felt horrified when she found out it han been that way since he had hatched four years ago. You're quite large for your age. She said politely as another round of stinging pain shot through her side. As soon as it died down she thought on the best way on how she should address the manner. I wish Rain was here, then I could get her opinion before making another decision like this. I want her acceptance first. I'm sure she wouldn't mind but, I don't want to do something that is going to make her uncomfortable. She thought to herself before coming to the conclusion that Rain would understand as soon as she heard what happened to this dragon. I know how other dragons are in that regard. Most of them are to blind to over look things like that to see what lies beneath the outlying scales, or to entangled up in the past of a dragon to notice any of the good the dragon had done since they had changed. You see, I myself was alone for thirty-three years ever since my mother was murdered. Her death hit me hard and I lost control over myself, but I finally managed to regain control, I also adopted another dragon that is just a bit older than you are, but again has had a similar past mostly because of my doing, but that's for a later date. If you would like, I could take you under my wing for a while at least until you start feeling more comfortable. Oh, and being a hybrid doesn't bother me at all. The way all the colors mix together as I said earlier make you look remarkably beautiful, and much more so than I could ever dream of being, but I hate hearing about others treating you like that just because your different. That isn't right at all and I won't stand for it. One thing is for sure, whether you accept my offer or not, I can personally guarantee that if anything is going to be able to hurt you, they'd have to go through me first. I will defend any youngling till my death. She told him as she thought in the back of her mind. Please let Rain understand my actions. |

'She wants to help me,' Ivory thought hardly able to believe what he was hearing, he never thought anyone would want to help him. "Thank you, i would love that," he said smiling slightly, "and about your question, I've always been bigger, and I learn really fast too." As he wa talking he realized she starting to look a bit worse due to her injuries. "You should at least wash those before they get infected," he said walking towards the water. "I'll help," he said sticking the tip of one of his wings in the water and letting it role over his other wing and make a small stream running off of his wing.

Nira looked at the young dragon with a different aspect. The dragon in front of her like rain had accepted her offer, and that would now make him her son. Quite the turn around, going from a life of death and destruction to a life of protection and creation. She thought to herself as she now realized what she was trult meant to do before her evil side took her over. She looked at her new son. She walked over towards him nuzzling him on the side of his cheek as a mother would and told him, I guess I should tell you that you have a new sister now as well, but you'll have to be careful with her. She's a year older than you are, but she is less than half your size and could be hurt easily, and I'd rather her not get hurt at all.[/b] This is already going to hurt her enough. I hope that she understand that my love for her will never change. She holds a spot in my heart that no one else could ever come close to.[/b] She thougth to herself after telling Ivory about Rain. She ten listened to him as he mention something about getting her wounds rinsed off before they got infected. Yes, I agree that would be a good idea and had planned on doing so, but I wanted to make sure you were okay before I did anything, and now, I'm happy I decided to wait. She told him as he extened on of his wings out into the cascading fall of water just outside of the cave to tle the water flow down his wings like a small stream or river. That was a neat idea. she told him as she extended her wing under his to was it off, but even with as large as he was it was a bit difficult to do so she used the opportunity to rince off the wound on her leg to not let the idea go comletely wasted. I appreciate the help, but it appears that my size is the limiting factor here. It appears that I'm going to have to rinse them off in the main pond at the base of the falls. She told him as looked once again at his wing in the falls and it clicked inside of her. On second thought... She said lifting her own wing under the falling ater and allowed it to rush down her wing and around to the side of her body causeing the wounds to all start stining in pain simultaneously. She had to grit her teeth to bear the few minutes it took for the watter to wash the dirt and smaller pebbles out of the scrapes and cuts on her side. That ought to be good enough for now. She saw as she laid down next to the cave enterance. |

'It worked, my idea actually worked,' Ivory thought as he watched her wash her wounds. "I have a sister, I've never had siblings before, when can I meet her" he asked excitedly. "Oh, you should know some stuff about me, I breath ice not fire, and I have no known ability in magic," he said hoping to not dissapoint her. "Also, will i be able to come back here, I like this place," he asked hopefully, while taking in the beauty of the cave, with patches of red green and blue crystals, and streaks of minerals running through the walls. |

Nira waited next to the waterfall at the entrance of the cave where she had rinsed off her wounds. There were still bleeding and the water had caused some of the scabbing to fall off opening some of the smaller wounds back up, but now that they had been cleaned it shouldn't take too long for them to heal now. She turned her attention to Ivory who had started talking to her, and asked about his new sister and when he would be able to meet her. Nira thought about how to answer because Rain was off with her father at the moment, and she didn't really know where the two went off to. Not to mention that it was at least a day's flight back home. I know it would be at least a day before you can meet her, as that's how far it is from here to home. She told him without having to think of where they could possible be. She then listened as Ivory started telling her a bit about him, how he couldn't use magic and that he breathed ice instead of fire. The way he told it to her almost sounded as if he had expected her to be upset or disappointed in the fact. She moved over closer to him, and extended her good wing to put around his back. There is nothing wrong with any of that incase that is what you might be thinking. It is not a sin or a crime to be different, and I really wish others were able to see that as clearly as I can. I myself was the only egg in my clutch. I can't really say that it was the reason why everyone had shunned me, but I know that everything and everyone is deifferent, and unlike most others I accept that. She told him not even thinking about whether he was okay or anything like that. She mentally kicked herself for not thinking about it sooner. Are you hungry or anything? I just realized that we've been here all morning, and neither of us has had anything to eat yet today. She told him in such a way that a mother would. |

As Ivory listened to his new mom tell him everything was okay even though he is different it made him feel better better. Although he had not realized it untill she mentioned it, he was reasly quite hungry. "Yes, I am a little, are we going hunting," he asked somewhat excited, while he walked up next to her. "Will you be able to fly with that wound," he asked gently nuzzling her shoulder next to her injured wing. 'Maybe numbing it will help' he thought before gently blowing cold air across the tear. |

 Nira watched as Ivory pulled out from underneath her wing and appeared to be feeling a bit better about things as he appeared to be happier, and more content around her than he had been before. Of course, her taking him in as her son may have had something to do with that as well. She was becoming happier by the moment, and others would be able to tell by her facial expression that she was more than just happy at the moment. I've been wanting to be able to have this kind of effect on others for a while now. To be able to come in contact with another dragon and have a positive influence on them instead of only hurting them. She thought to herself with her eyes starting to become glased over and forming small tears at their corners. She then heard Ivory ask if they were going to go hunting to which she simply nodded her head, and then if she would be able to fly with the tear in her wing the wat it was, and before she had a chance to say anything she felt a burst of extremely cold air come over her wing causing her to lose feeling in most of her membrane. Thank you, that was very thoughtful, and I appreciate it even though I would have been fine without it. I've flown with worse injuries than that before, though I shall enjoy the lack of pain that would normally be associated with doing so. She told him in response to her injury. She looked out through what little bit she could see outside of the waterfall looking for a place somewhat flat that was neraby. With her not being able to feel her membrane, she would be unable to notice any injury she could get beyond this point until the numbness had worn off, but she wasn't going to let it bother her too much. as she looked out she asked her son, Is there any place you had in mind for this morning's hunt? |

"I don't know the area so anywhere you suggest will be alright with me," Ivory said as he thought over the day so far thinking that it had been the happiest day of his life. "Do you like this place," he asked as he looked around the cave hopefully not for the last time before he walked up to the fall and looked out to make sure no one was in the way of his exit. "I'll see you on the ground," he said before he dived out of the entrance. Ivory felt the cool water rush over him before he was in open air. He aimed his nose at the ground in a freefall, just a few feet from hitting the ground he flared his wings and gracefully landed on the shore of the lake at the bottom of the falls and looked back up at the cave entrance.

Turning her head and sticking it through the falling wqater just enough to see if she could spot anything from her that would look to be a decent place to hunt, Nira frocused her eyes on a large field only about a mile away from where they were. There is a large field not to far from her straight on out from the falls, I think we should be able tio catch something there. She told Ivory who then asked her if she liked it here. Before she could answer he told her that he would meet her on the ground, and exited the cave. She followed him down landing in the base pond of the falls. In a hurry much? She said jokingly towrds him. She knew he was antsy to get out and do something. She then recollected him asking her if she liked this place and she told him. In response to your question, it was in this very spot where I became accepted for the first time into any clan by any individual, and this place when the sun hits it just right, can be the most beautiful thing you'll ever see. She told him looking up in the falls. She used her good wing to point up to a cave that wasn't covered by the waterdalls, You see that cave up there to the left of the falls? I used to live in that cave for the longest time. I spent many years alone there, and is where Rain and I lived for the first month or two after I adopted her. Since then we've moved in with the clan, whom are a lot more trusting and accepting that I had originally thought. If they accepted me without any problem, I doubt they'd have and reason to not accept you. She told him as she started making here way to the fields, How, let's go get something to eat before we starve. She joked as she waited for him to follow. |

'I finaly have a place to belong,' Ivory thought as he started following her to the field. He remembered what caused him to come here and even though it was a bad memory he was glad for because if it never happened then he would not be where he is now. Ivory was awakened by someone kicking him. "huh, what," he asked confused as he looked up to see an older larger dragon standing over him. "Get out, this is my cave now," the dragon said growling at him. Ivory gets up slowly and backs toward the back of the cave to get away from the dragon. "I said get out," the dragon said before lunging at him. Just barely dodging the bite Ivory takes his chance to get away and out the entrance. 'Why does this always happen to me he thought as he flew away from yet another home. 'Thats over and done with, and its not going to happen again,' he tought as he snapped himself out of the funk he was in and focused on the thought of the food waiting just ahead and the new life he was starting, this time with a family. |

Nira stayed with Ivory for the time up to they got to teh edge of the valley that was in front of them not wanting to get to far ahead of him, but not falling behind either. She wasnted to show him that even though he already knew, if there was any dragon that he could trust, it was her. she stayed clost to the river, and after only a few minutes was at the falley edge. So, what kind of meat do you like? Deer? Byson, Buffalo? What ever you'd like is what we'll hunt for. She told him as she noticed that something had rattled his thoughts momentarily, but he seemed to recover from it quickly. As if on cue, however, the numbness of her wing started to wear off, and the wind sheering through the tear in her wing opened it once again. She just shook her head partially winceing from the pain as the pressure from the wind started making the tear in her wing grow. She shook her head a few more times before she soon had no other choice. I have to land... This tear is worse than I thought, and it's only getting larger with each second I'm in the air. She told Ivory as she made a sharp descent to the ground to keep as much pressure off of her wing at all possible. This is rediculous, I've had a broken wing that didn't cause as much pain as this. She said as she noticed a pecular odor coming from the wound. It wasn't the the smell of blood, although it was present. It was something else, something that smelled foul. Quick... Get behind me.... She told him in an extremely serioous, yet worried tone. There is something else here... I think it was in the cave. She said as she looked down to find that her side had opened up again. Venom... She acknowledged as she finished looking over the other wounds that had opened up. Howling screeches could be heard through the area asNira looked to see if she could spot whatever it was that was making the noises, though before she could do anything, she lost complete feeling in her right wing rendering it completely useless. She turned to Ivory... I'm going to need your help if we are going to get out of this. She said with a shred of doubt starting to build in her. This was a venom she hadn't experienced before, and didn't know how long it would take for it's effects to kick in or even what they were. I could really use some other help right now to... preferablby someone who knows how to cure poisons. She thought to herself. |

Ivory was quick to follow her advice and get behind her. The screeches coming from all around had really started to freak him out. 'Venom, shes been poisoned, what do I do, I dont know what to do about poison, I just found her and now I'm going to lose her,' Ivory thought as he started to panic and tears started to fall from his eyes at the thought of her death. 'I wish I wasn't so useless, I can't even help my family,' he thought mentaly beating himself up because he didn't know how to do magic, well he didn't know for sure he didn't know how to do magic, no one ever taught him and he never tried before. 'If there was ever a time for me to get lucky its now,' he thought while concentrating his hardest and pouring every ounce of energy he has into the thought of his new mother being healed.

Nira once again tried to move her wing, but the venom that was in it kept her from so much as even flinching it, and to make matters worse, she was starting to lose feeling in her side to. It's only a matter of time before this poison reaches my vital organs, once that happens... I don't think anything can be done... She thought to herself not daring saying something like that aloud with Ivory here. He needed her to have hope if he was going to get through this, though She immediatly lost all hope when the creature that was making the screeches landed right in front of them. This beast was enormous, at least twice the size of Nira, and was far larger than any dragon could ever get. This beast had four wings instead of two, and they appeared to be as thick as stone. The beast itself was black as coal, it's face indescibable. It was so hideous looking that she couldn't make much of anything out, except its eyes. They were pure red, no Iris, no pupil just solid blood red. There was no way either of them could fight it and survive, and It was becomming more and more apparent that she wouldn't make it out of this alive no matter what happened. Ivory.... Listen to me.... You can't stay here any longer... it's not safe... This beast already has me too weakened to fight it, and if you stay, he'll kill you just like he's getting ready to do me... Go north from here... It will take you straight into the clan that I called my home. Inform then of this monster... and that my return there is not forseeable. She told him as tears were now in her eyes. She knew that his was the end unless a miracle happened, and she feared what would happen to Rain, and now him once she was gone. By now, she was completely paralyzed.  Silvera had been plagued all day with a constant buzz in her mind. Soemthing that was telling her that everything wasn't right, but yet she had no idea what it was as she couldn't find anything a miss within the clan. Still she could sense that there wasnot peace in the lands so she decided to do a scouting run herself along the outer borders of her clan's territory. As soon as she reached the northern most region of her lands, she heard a loud screeching sound and looked up to see a beast of Monsterous Size diving down towards teh other side of the plains about where the waterfall would be. NO She yelled as she took off in full pursuit flight at full speed, which she had not done in a very long time showing just how fast she truly was. living within the plains and the desert left her very lean, and very strong, which all helped shape her into how fast she had become. I hope I'm not too late... She said as she strted closing in. It took her a few more minutes for her to reach the egde of the plains where she spotted a young white dragon, and a purple dragoness that looked all too familiar tattered with blood. I had heard rumors that she had changed, but then how could she...? She thought before all doubt was erased was she saw the gigantic beast starting to close in on her and the other dragon. Oh, no you don't. Silvera shouted at the beast as she dove in fully charging her lightening and discharging it straight into one of the beast's eyes. The monster much to her liking was distracted enough by the pain for her to do what she needed to make sure the other two were safe. You! White one with the gold sheen! Get close to Nira, Now! Silvera told him. She knew that she sounded bossy, but now really wasn't the time for please and thank you. She then started to form a dome of solid ice that was strengthened with the electicity from her lightening magic to where it would not melt in the summer heat, or at least not as fast, and would send millions of volts of electricity through the body of any being other than her that tried to open it. She made sure that effect did not cross in to the inside by creating to different shells of ice that slowly started to rist from the ground. She the turned still keeping her focus on the ice magic only to find that the beast was no longer distracted. Her sudden lack of concentration almost caused the ice shell to collapse that had only reached about three feet about the ground at this point. She quickly tried to build it higher to protect the two dragons that were to be in it, but it would depend on how long it would be safe for her to do so until she had to try to fight back. |
