| Welcome to The Dragons of Selzar. This place is designed as a Role-play site where you literally live as a dragon. You create your dragon character, join one of the five dragon clans, and then you live it's life as if it was your life, and adapt it to different scenarios that are brought upon you by other users and characters. Storm had been flying around goofing of and enjoying the feeling of the wind in his fur when he caught site of a sparkle from below. 'Oh, shiny,' he thought as he dived for the sparkle. As he got closer though he discovered that it was an island made of ice. 'Hey thats even better than something shiny, maybe there are caves down there,' he thought flying in for a closer look. Not seeing any danger he landed next an opening in the ice. 'There are caves,' he thought excitedly as he entered the cave. He saw several tunnels going off in different directions, 'oo, a maze this is getting better and better,' he though going down a tunnel. He kept walking taking turn after turn, making sure to remember the way back. Finaly he comes upon a very large chamber with no other entrances, 'this is perfect,' he thought taking in the sight. The cave was several times his size with dozens of stalagtites hanging from the ceiling, those would be a fun obstacle course to fly around, and just as many stalagmites on the ground, in the back of the chamber there is an area recessed in the wall that would be perfect for his sleeping area. After rubbing against the walls on either side of the entrance he carefully makes his way back to the exit. 'Now to get my stuff,' he thought taking flight to retrieve his hoard and bring it to his new cave. A couple of days later Storm is surveying his new cave. There are piles of gemstones and vases and all other manner of shiny things all around the cave and the recessed area is fille with thousands of coins to make his sleeping area, and hanging in front og the sleeping area is a beaded curtain thats beads are actually gemstones. 'Perfect,' he thought before walking out of the cave to go hunting. After his hunt he returns to his cave anly to discover a strange scent in the area. He races to his cave only to discover another dragon examining his stuff. He growls loudly at the intruder and says, "who are you and why are you here?" |

Karena looks up at the rude words to see another Eastern. "I am Karena," she says, unable to be rude even after such a unrefined first meeting. "I am new to the Furick clan. I was simply exploring these caves and was curious about all these baubles and trinkets until you came along so crudely." She examines the other Eastern for a moment. "I thought Easterns were supposed to be more polite and smarter than Westerns and Wyverns. Apparently, i thought wrong, at least in your case." She turns her back on him and examines the cave for a moment. "I suppose this is a nice collection," she admits. "But it's much too shiny for my tastes." |

"Well, excuse me, but you didn't come back from a hunt to find someone in your cave going through your stuff did you," Storm said very angry at her assumption about him. "had you not decided to be so rude, and simply told me you weren't stealing stuff, I probably would have been a bit nicer," he said with a derisive snort. "And you have probably heard of me before I have quite a reputation in the eastern lands, my name is Storm, Storm WindRaven," he stated proudly. |

Karena rolls her eyes and looks over the piles of shinies. "I've never been to the eastern lands," she says truthfully. "My egg was laid and hatched on an unmapped island here in Selzar," she says, pouting. "You're the first eastern i have seen other than my mother. You're the only still living eastern i've ever met." She twists to look at him. "I am sorry for being rude, but you were being rudely presumptious to think i would take another dragon's belongings," she says sincerely. "My mother taught me that it is a horrible sin to take what doesn't rightfully belong to you." She cocks her head. "Beside, what would i do with such shiny stuff? i don't like shinies. i was merely curious as to what sort of dragon would hoard such a massive amount of shinies." |

"Sorry, I'm a bit overzealous in my protectiveness but everyone else who has found my hoard has tried to make of with it," Storm said having calmed down a bit. "And in answer to the question, I am most widely known for my.... destruction, of my father, who betrayed and slaughtered my mother and siblings," he said proud of himself for bringing said father to justice. "I am told that when I heard of his location I flew to the area in a rage, with a storm more fierce and terrifying than any other ever seen following in my wake, they say I released a roar that was both the most beautiful and terrifying thing ever heard, and i had killed him before the fight even got started, which is why I did not know he was dead till I was told I had killed him," he explained with a completely serious look on his face. |

Karena nods. "It is honorable to bring about justice for those who can't enact it on their own," she says softly. "It's horrifying to think a dragon would steal what belongs to another dragon," she adds, shaking her head. "I can now comprehend why you would be so presumptious about a stranger looking over your hoard. But i will tell you truthfully, i have no use for shinies and i would rather die than take what is in rightful possession of another." |

Storm only partialy heard what Karena was saying as when she noded the light filtering throught the small cracks in the ceiling shined on her and gave him his first good look at her. The light cast rainbows off of her silver scales and the gold feathers shined in the light. "I must appologize once again for my rudeness for of I had known that the one in my cave was such a lovely lady I would not have been so quick to jump to conclusions," he said as he fully took in her lovliness. "Oh, forgive my rudeness but you must be freezing, as I have not heard of other dragons able to withstand such cold for long," Storm said appologeticaly.

Karena blushes slightly at the compliment. She is getting used to them, but they still take her by surprise. Suddenly, the cold air makes its way around her curiosity and she shudders delicately. "I am a bit cold," she admits. "My curiosity often outweighs my senses when i find something puzzling. Shall we move to some place a bit more appropriate for lengthy conversations?" she asks politely. |

"Of course dear lady, I would be happy to escort you back to where the sun shines," Storm said with a somewhat rakish grin. "If you will come with me I will lead the way, and I would love the company of one such as yourself," he said even though he knew that it was very obvious that he was flirting with her. 'The way her scales shine, her voice, I've never felt these things before,am I going crazy,or is there something else wrong with me,' Storm thought as he turned and stepped out of the cave a bit to let her exit. |

Karena smiles graciously. "Please lead the way," she says politely. She can tell that he's flirting with her, but she does want to get a warmer place before she gets too cold. She passed him out of the cave gently the paused to let him lead the way to the entrance of the caves. "What are the Eastern Lands like?" she asked to make conversation on their way to the entrance. "I have never been, but my mother said that they are so beautiful." |

"I don't remember much but what I do remember of it was very beautiful," Storm said as he started off down the tunnels leading to the outside. "Can you tell me about this land I'm in now these caves are the only part I've seen so far and I only know the path to my cave so far of this place," he asked curiously. 'Seriously, whats wrong with me, I feel wierd, my stomachs all tickly, and I'm nervous and I'm breathing quicker, am I dieing, he thought as hi thought took a turn towards the wierd and he started to panic a bit, while still managing to keep up a calm face for Karena. |

Karena smiles. "Selzar is amazing! I'm with the Furick clan, who claim the mountains of the mainland. The mountain range is along the southeastern end of the mainland. The clan uses an extinct volcano as our home caves. There's also a desert, belonging to the Kukiron clan. There's more than a desert there, but it's mostly a desert. the desert takes up most of the northern part of the mainland. there's also a plains area that belongs to the Juthivar clan. they live in this giant magicked tree. that is the southwestern end of the mainland. in the central area of the mainland is the free lands, where those who don't belong to a clan gather. there's this beautiful waterfall that is near the Kukiron desert. the falls come from a river that starts in the deepest lake in the world. i hear that the selicarian lake is so deep that no dragon can reach the bottom of it and live. south of the waterfall and lake is a place called the central plains. that's all that's mapped out at the moment. the dragons of Selzar call this place the Caves of Suni, and it has yet to be put on the map. i hear that there's a dragon who lives in these caves that is literally made of ice, though not many have seen her." Karena looks at Storm. "The island i grew up on isn't on the map either, but it's still a part of Selzar." |

'She realy likes this land,' Storm thought as he listened to her description of Selzar. "An ice dragon that sound amazing," he said after she finished her story. Storm noticed that her tale had lasted the whole way to the caves exit. "A volcano how can you stand the heat, and a desert, the heat from either would kill me," Storm said amazed at her resistance to heat. "Are you feeling any better," he asked worridly, hoping that the cold had not injured her in some way. |

"I'm fine now," Karena assures. "And the volcano isn't active anymore, there's no lave or anything in it. the lava tunnels and magma caves are now halls and rooms for the clan. I'm not sure how the dragons in the desert can stand that much heat, though. My feathers would wilt! and then i hear it's freezing at night in the desert! my scales would wither in such extreme and opposite temperatures!" |

"Well during the summer I lose energy when I go out into the heat," Storm said laying down and curling his tail around himself. "And I'm glad your feeling better," he said giving her a small smile. "When do you have to return to your clan, it is starting to get dark," Storm said as he looked out at the beautiful sunset. 'Also, I need to go rest, I think I'm gettig sick,' he thought as he waited for her answer. |

Karena smiles. "I guess i should get back," she says. "I'll come back tomorrow, if you want," she adds. She looks out at the setting sun. "It was nice meeting you," she adds. "I hope we can become good friends." She turns to go and the sunlight shows off the scar on her left foreleg and glitters off of her silver scales. Karena gives Storm one more smile before taking flight to head back to the mainland. |

"See you later," Storm said as Karena took flight. 'Now to figure out whats wrong with me,' he thought as he started backtowards his cave. When he Was back in his cave and had layed down in his sleeping area he discovered that he didn't feel wierd anymore. 'Why do I feel different now, was the wierdness a result of being around Karena,' Storm thought as he got ready for sleep. 'Oh well, I'll figure it out later,' he thought as he fell asleep for the night. The next morning Storm decides he is going to explore hi new home today. 'Maybe I'll meet that dragon Karena told me about, it would be realy cool to meet an ice dragon, I bet that they will be realy pretty,' he thought as he left his cave to go exploring. |

Five years of searching the mainland, yet no luck on a portal home. Time wasted, for all I know, that blasted dragon might of wiped out my family and friends all over Gragon. I mustn't give up, I will find a way home. Dragonous said to himself, while flying over Selzar. This seems like a safe area, maybe I might find something or someone that can help me out, or at least find a draconian to insure that I'm not the last of my kind. Angling his wings downward, he began a gentle decient. Looking around, he noticed a figure to his left A dragon, here? Well this is an ideal area for them, might as well introduce myself. Ending his decient, he began to bank in the direction of the dragon, landing not but 20 yards away from the entrance. Hello there, I'm Dragonous, and I'm kindof new to this land, anything you could possibly tell me? he said as he folded his wings back and sat down, his tail resting across his front claws. |

Far in the caves of Suni, a young dragoness was just finishing her meal of a couple small slices of ice. Frostica crunched up the last of the ice with her hard, sharp teeth and gulped it down. She got up from the place she was sitting and decided to explore a bit in the caves. Although she had been living there all her life, the caves of Suni were far too vast to be completely explored in the few years she had been living alone. Frostica walked out of her cave and started down a small tunnel. She took several turns at forks in the tunnels, taking care to remember which way she went. But as she was walking down one of the tunnels she smelled a strange, unfamiliar scent. Curious, she tried to follow it and soon came to a large cave she had never seen before. It was half filled with shiny objects that she didn't recognize. That scent is another dragon's scent. she thought. Maybe I'm trespassing on their territory. I should probably get out of here. But, even though Frostica went back to her cave, she seemed drawn to the cave with the strange objects, and the next day she visited it again. She saw that more objects had been added to the giant pile. She visited the cave for a couple days until the cave was completely filled with the objects. I think whoever is keeping these thing will probably move in here soon. she thought. She stayed away from the cave for a while, but after a bit her curiousity overpowered her and she took another look in the cave. It looked the same as before, except that the scent of the other dragon was stronger. Frostica noticed that the scent was a trail that led to a tunnel on the other side of the cave. She walked over to the tunnel and started to follow the scent. After many forks in the tunnels she came to the main entrance to the caves of Suni. The scent led outside, but since it was summer, she didn't want to go any farther outside. It already felt sweltering hot to her in the entrance, and Frostica was about to turn back into the caves when she saw a large figure outside the caves. Squinting in the sunlight to get a better look at what was out there, she saw another figure land next to the first. Dragons! she realized. They look a lot bigger than me, too. I should run... but then again, I would like to see more dragons around here. Perhaps I should start a conversation with them? Still unable to make up her mind, she simply stood there and waited for the dragons to either fly away or notice her. |

Dragonous' left ear perked up and he looked around seeing another dragon Hmm, well, what do we have here? Another dragon, this time a different breed then this one. Returning his attention to the first dragon Yet, this one has not responded to me, maybe this other could give me some information about this place He thought to himself as he stood back on all fours and began to walk to the second dragon and sat down a few yard from her Greetings, my name is Dragonous and I'm kindof new to this place. Would you be so kind as to tell me about this place? he asked, setting his tail across his front claws, a sign that he means no harm. |
