Before they came... Man knew dragons to be nothing but a myth, a legend that was used to either scare or excite people. Thousands of years passed and man enjoyed being the only powerful force on the world, fighting amongst themselves from time to time to see just who was stronger. Unknown to humankind, the 'legends' were real and they were watching, waiting for the time when they could come out from hiding. And then everything changed... The first few dragons that came out of hiding were meet with a hostile force, for mankind fears what it does not understand and attacks before anything else. And so the dragons had to fight for man to understand and accept them while also having to keep on guard as everything was now a danger to them. Time can fix everything... At first, nothing changed as both man and dragon fought against each other; man feeling threatened and dragons for peace. Soon, an shaky peace was made between dragons at the United Nations. At first both sides stood on edge, not sure if the other would keep their end of the agreement but over time the two sides opened up, allowing for friends ships to blossom as the peace became permeant. But sometimes it's hard to forgive... As many nations made it illegal to hunt or hurt a dragon unless in self defense many grew unsettled. What about the men and women lost due to the savage beasts? Those that were just defending their family? Why should a over grown lizard be allowed equal treatment to work beside humans? These and many more ran throughout that grew even more weary of the dragons, knowing that at any moment they could turn to strike out against them. Peace kept growing... The Dragomir was formed. A group of people and dragons that were not in the UN to keep peace between nations, mankind and dragons. Dedicated to peace, the group soon gained support and numbers, causing even more resentment to those that still did not trust the dragons. Nothing lasts forever... And so the Lysimahus was formed, an unground organization that was only a rumor until the first raid on a Commoners Hatching day put the world into upheaval. The Dragomir could only watch in shock as their hard earned work was washed away in a matter of moments. The world, once again, went back to war as the Lysimahus vowed to keep fighting until all dragons were either dead or broke and as the Dragomir promised to change the others mind or end their group. But all is not lost... With the world again in war, many have taken up the mantle to fight on one or the other side while many have taken to looking out for themselves. Which ever is the case, both Lysimahus and the Dragomir have taken it upon themselves to recruit those that do not have a side yet, wishing to turn the tide of battle to their side.
