Alara flew over the huge sheet of ice, enjoying the moment. In the distance, she could see a black big male dragon chewing on an animal he must have caught. She landed about one hundred yards away, gazing up at the cloud filled sky. It was unbearably cold, but her scales shielded off the harsh feeling. But there was a roar. She looked back at the male dragon to see him growl at her, coming closer to her. Snorting uncomfortably, she backed up only to see the dragon jump off of the ice and rise in the air, coming straight towards her with bared teeth. He noted the fear that she held, seeming to grow bigger. He was far bigger than Alara, so all she could do was run. She lifted herself in the air, scraping her claws against the ice for lift. Shards of it kicked up as she went higher into the air, but the black dragon behind her was gaining on her. There in the distance was a mountain of ice. She flew towards it, picking up speed and gaining altitude. The huge roar behind her sent a vibration toward her. She could feel his warm breath against her scales, even if he was twenty yards away. When she got to the mountain of ice, she tried to fake the dragon, going right but turning sharply to the left. All four of her clawed feet hit the ice as she kicked off with as much force as she could, sending chunks of ice flying towards the ground. His black fire almost hit her, being displayed over the mountain of ice, but doing nothing to its enchanted surface. As she flew to the direction she came, she bent her head back, still keeping the same level, but she blew her fire. He dodged it easily and seemed to snake through the air as her bit into her wing, sending her roaring with pain. When she knew she couldn't stay airborne any longer with the pain in her wing, she clawed at the dragon as they collided. His huge body was enough to crush her, but she wasn't going to let that happen. It was a flurry of wings as they came rushing to the ground. She finally got him to go underneath when they crashed into the ice, splinters of them piercing into her skin. The dragon had taken most of the impact but he immediatly got up. The fall didn't hurt him much, and it didn't hurt Alara much, but the ice did its work. He backed up, baring his teeth. She did the same thing as they circled each other. No words were being exchanged, but she could feel his fury in the air. With a burst of flame from his mouth, he came rushing forward, rearing up on his hind legs. She reared up too, and you could see how much smaller she was compared to this beast. He snapped at her neck as she clawed at him, breaking into his scales and skin. He roared with pain, but she continued, watching both of their blood fall onto the icey ground. "What do you want?!" She backed away from him, making him stop his attack for a brief moment. Her eyes burned with a curiosity that was untamable. What caused this dragon to go off on her like this? "I swore the day I killed your guardian that I would kill you, too." His voice was deep. She remembered it like it was yesterday. She didn't even know that part of her memory was stored in her mind, but it evidently was. His eyes burned with fury as he came back at her, making her fall to the ground as she bit into her side, hanging on with all of his might, not letting go. She could feel the bones break, the blood fall onto the ice, and her roar rip through the silent air. It was loud and could be heard from miles around. But she tried to fight back, biting repeatedly with her sharp teeth, but nothing seemed to get him away. Edited by Emz, Sep 6 2009, 07:06 PM.

Nozdormu was on his way to the Southern coast. Someone told him that there is an island made of ice. He have nothing to do so he went to a little trip. Hmm this is boring, and nothing is here. But in the distance he see island made of ice. Finally i found it. He was so excited. Wind was cold and strong he couldn´t hear anything. He use his wind magic to calm a wind on front of him. When he flew the temperature wasn´t so chilly. He land on the frozen ground. Well now i should look for some animals who lives here. Nozdormu tried walk trought the snow. This could takes days. He change his mind and try found something from above. After some time he found something tear to pieces. Look like some remains from animal. But i don´t think this could be some another animal, it look like dragons claws and teeth. Well what ever it was he let there some meat on that so a little snack will be good. In minute all meat was gone. Hmm not bad. He was again trying to find another food. The wind started calming. Another good thing. He heard a painfull roar. This sounds like dragon, and something happend to him. I should look for him, this cold area is very dangerous. When he was in the sky he saw two dragons down there, one of them was black and bigger. What the, this is not fair. The bigger dragon was attacking on the smaller. He will pay for this. Nozdormu land close to the bigger one and roar on him. After that he start breath a fire on him and trying get him out so the little one could escape. Try to fight whit some one who is same strength. Yelled Nozdormu on him. |

 Kodak was flying around out of bordome. The smaller dragons were done with training for the day so he got a break. He flew on, wanting to cool down. Fighting the wind and dust he went towards the caves. When he got close he saw a dragon sliding on the ice. He also saw a bigger dragon growl and come after the other one for no reason. He flew after them, watching as they entered the cave. He also saw a dragon that looked like he was very curious. Then it attacked the bigger one. Kodak rushed over hearing the black ones words on the wind. "I swore the day I killed your guardian that I would kill you, too." He landed when the blue one told the black dragon to fight someone with the same strength. Kodak motion really quick to the smaller lighter blue dragon to get behind them. He then scratched the black dragon flank trying to devert his attention to let what he could now see was a female get away. How dare you do this to a dragon smaller than you! You should be killed! And to you other dragons my name is Kodak. He scratched the dragon flank again, watching the blood soak his paws and run down the dragon. He jumped back to make sure he wasnt hit. |

There was a noise behind her, and it wasn't the dragon who was attacking her. As she finally got a good look, she could see Nozdormu speak something, but she couldn't hear him as pain still erupted around her body. But the black dragon didn't mind the breathing fire. Instead, he bit at her neck, tearing her flesh like it was nothing but air. There was more noise, and she could see another male dragon accompany this party. He was also black, and she feared he was with the black dragon that was above her. But he told the black dragon above her to leave her alone, but also adding that his name was Kodak. Giving a growl, she snapped at the black dragon's snout, but he dodged it, wrapping his claws and digging them into her side to keep her from releasing. Scales, skin, and finally he pierced through the blood that spilled onto the ice. Kodak slashed the black dragon's flank, sending black blood onto the ice, also. Fire erupted in Alara's mouth out at the black dragon, hitting him straight in the chest. With a roar, he jumped off her as the flames licked at his skin. Rolling onto her stomach, she tried to get away but once she dug her claws into the ice, pain slipped through her body everywhere. She kept on blowing the fire, and she could feel the blood loss make her vision blurr and her movements become slower. He jumped back a few more feet before dodging the fire and coming back to her. Her claws went up in a slow flash, cutting away at his neck, leaving deep gashes. "I...won't...let...you...KILL ME!" she shouted at him, slashing again and again. With that, he brought his claw to her own, closing around them to stop the slashing. He lifted his head to the snout and let a loud roar rip the air. It was louder than hers was the start of the battle. His head turned to the horizen where two black, swift dragons were flapping their wings toward them. Three roars came back to them and what seemed a smile came across the dragon. "Oh, but if I don't kill you, they will, along with your friends." While he was distracted, her mouth closed around his neck and she bit down as hard as she could, thrashing with her closed mouth around his neck. There was a loud crack and instantly, the black dragon went limp, dying there on the ice. With a groan, she collapsed onto the ice, looking up at the approaching dragons. It was three against three, but how could she possibly fight in her broken and battered state? Her blood wouldn't stop dripping onto the ice and her vision was even more blurred, but she had to fight to stay awake. "Please, just fly away. I don't want you two hurt because of me. Please, go. I can't let them do this to you." Her pleas to the two male dragons sounded pathetic, but she wanted them gone so they wouldn't get killed. But where would that leave her? |

Nozdormu looked and the smaller dragon. On no it´s Alara, i must save her. Another black dragon land close to him. I guess this is his friend. But the new dragon starts attack to the black dragon. Well this is better. He introduct himself as Kodak. Nozdormu run around the Kodak and black dragon and try attack from another direction. Damn i must penetrate his scales. Nozdormu attacked oh his leg. Maybe i could get him on back. He saw Alara as she attack on dragons neck. He heard as she spoke on the black dragon. Oh no, she is very hard wounded, this must end know. Another roar from the air. When he looked there. Another enemies, this will be very bad. The black dragon said something be it was bad mistake. Alara used this against him. His neck was tear of. He saw as Alara fall down to the ice. He run to her. She was bleeding. He turned to the Kodak. Have you ability to heal Kodak ? I you have i need your help, first we must stop the bleeding. He turned to Alara. You will be okay Al. He amile at her. Her words hurt him. Don´t worry Al we can do it. He looked on the incoming enemies. Then back to Alara. He almost touch the wound with his nose. Then he starts heal. I hope we can stoped the bleeding then she have a chance to survive, and then we can fight with the others. |

Kodak watched as the dragon ignored them and kept going after the female. He was about to jump in between them so he could take the damage when she started blowing fire. Then he said that if she killed him they would all just be killed by others. He then heard three other roars. He also saw the black dragon go limp as she bit into his neck. He rushed over to her. Yes, I know healing, and I wont let you die. He Started healing her next to the blue dragon. He saw the gaps, close and could hear what ever bones that were broken snap back into place. He then fce the entrance. I was abandoned once, left to die, I wont let it happen to you! He then growled as they came closer, fire bubbling in his fire bladder. He let it come up, sending some in the sky, letting them know he wasnt about to give up, and that he was ready for anything they could give him. Knowing the females name was Al or something of the sort he didnt want to let her die alone. She was as healed as he could get heer, and hoped that they had healed her all the way. They would need all the strenght they could get. |

Alara watched in dull amazement as both of the male dragons came over to her and started healing her broken and damaged body as the oncoming black dragons came closer. The bones that were broken went back to their original places, the large gashes on her body were pulled together, and she looked up at Kodak and Nozdormu. Kodak said how he wasn't going to leave, along with Nozdormu. She weakly stood up, feeling better, but her blood still lay on the ice. Her heart would have to regenerate more blood as time went by, so she hoped she'd last this battle. Kodak blew fire into the sky, which Alara joined in, making the bright colors flare up together. She could see the black dragons slow down in their flight toward them, and they were very close. When she stopped blowing her fire, she growled as the three dragons broke up, one taking one of the three dragons. A big dragon went for Kodak, another for Nozdormu, and finally, a black dragon came for Alara. "I'm Alara." She said quickly to Kodak before the battle that was going to envelope. The black dragon that chose her tried to fly over her, to get the better position, so he tried to claw her down. She ducked, but snapped up and grabbed his tail with her jaws, holding on tight. That ended his flight and he came crashing to the ground. He quickly got back up, though looked a bit disheveled. They circled each other until she punced toward him, knocking him down to the ground. She was on top of him, making sure to keep him there. Her claws sunk into his skin while his snapping mouth almost hit her. She got off of him right before he tried to bite into her side. That was a close one... They started circling each other again while Alara looked at Nozdormu and Kodak to see how their battles were going. |

Nozdormu starts feeling better when he saw that Alaras wounds are healed. Whit Kodaks help it wasn´t so hard and i´am still fit. He saw as the attacking dragons are close. It was one by one. I hope that i will survive it. He looked at the enemy who was atttacking on him. Now i get you down. A little wind groving on speed. It´s start to be a blizzard. Nozdormu was full concentrated on his wings and eyes. The other dragon could see nothing and he must do everthing to not be smashed by the wind. But he was still closing to him. When the black dragon was close to Nozdormu. Wind change the direction. Now it´s starts to be a tornado. It was so fast that black dragon cannot react on this a and crush in to the snow. Now i have a chance. Black dragon roar on him, he was very pissed. Know you see me soon you won´t. Nozdormu was in strange mood. He was enjoing it. He starts breathing a fire into the tornado. Black dragon eyes was his target, even black dragon close them, they were little burned. Not much but even that was enought. Nozdormu stopts the fire and the tornado was changed into the blizzard. His energy was droping fast. The wind was against Nozdormu, they both cannot see each other but Nozdormu could smell him. Know get closer to him. Nozdormu have advateg but the black dragon wasn´t waiting on him. He breath fire into some directions. Phew this was close. But another breath hits Nozdormu, he change the directions of the wind so the fire only little burned his scales. The black dragon roar and run direct to Nozdormu. This is not good. The black one attack his neck but Nozdormu turned and only his tail and legs was hit by the black one. Nozdormu roar with pain on his body. The tail was very wounded. He was turned to the black one. Nozdormu make another blizzard but only for some secondes. He run to the black one, when he was close, the wind fade down and he starts breathing a fire on the black one head. The black dragon little turn his body and try to resist the fire. Nozdormu little jump on him and make him fall on the ice. He fell that he broke some bones but he doesn´t stoped. He attack on his neck. The black dragon tries to get Nozdormu out but his theeth bite his neck and Nozdormu close his mouth. Black one make his final roar and his body stopts shakeing. Nozdormu fall dawn to the ice. He breating hard. He use too many energy and broken bones still hurts. I need a little pause, i can´t move. I waste much energy on him, i should more fight with claws. He looked at the others. Well i guess my opponent was the easiest. |

Kodak watched them slow down as the female who said her name was Alara blew fire with him. They still came at them but he was ready. They each seperated adn went after one of them. He saw one of the bigger ones come after him. He flew to the side a bit so he wasnt confused with the other blacks. He looked a lot like them. He reared onto his back feet and interlocked his claws with the other dragon. He flipped him onto the ground and raked his back claws across his stomach. He then looked at the dragon fully and froze. He saw his father in this dragon. He didnt smell like him though, and that is when the dragon flipped him over and clawed at his neck. He shielded it for the most part with his forlegs but was scratched here and there. He tried wriggling out but the other dragon was too big. He finally got out after his stomach was opened and bleeding heavily. He quickley healed it before the other dragon could get up. He then went for the throught biting down hard on forleg. He yanked hearing a satisfying snap. He then let go and looked at him. he didn't like killing things. He brought his claws against the other dragons wings and put a huge hole in the right one. It wouldnt ever be able to fly again. So if it tried to bother her again she would have an easier time. If you leave now you leave with your life, If you fight I will finish you off and it will be slow and painful. Very painful. By the time I'm done you will be begging me to kill you. His red eyes glowed brighter until the dragon flew off withought looking back. He looked at Alara and decided before he jumped in to help he would let her do more damage. He didn't want to interfere with someone elses kill. He then looked at ther male dragon. I'm sorry but I'm afraid I don't know your name. |

Alara was the first to jump at the dragon who circled her, and she managed to claw a bit at his back. Some blood sprang up but the dragon quickly healed himself, and she was surprised when he didn't seem fazed at how much energy it took. What was his problem with bothering her and friends? But then, Kodak intervened, snapping at the dragon who she ws fighting. He spoke angry words, and she was happy that he stopped her battle, for she had grown extremely tired. The black dragon seemed to back away, obviously fearful as the two other dragons were killed. Kodak stopped talking, and the black dragon didn't move that much. Alara opened her mouth, blowing some fire to move him along. The black dragon ducked the fire, crouching into a ball sort of shape. "I'm sorry," he said before flying away without looking back. She snorted smoke out of her nose, not quite sure what his response meant. He was sorry, for what? Before he had flown away, she could see an apologetic look in his eyes. But he disappeared in the distance, sinking away into the clouds. She gazed in wonder where he once was fighting her. She felt bad for his tail, as it had dripped blood onto the ice, even when he was airborne. Kodak's words brought her back. "That's Nozdormu." It probably sounded bad to introduce him without Nozdormu's permission, but he looked a bit too weak to speak at the moment. She walked over to him, noticing some injuries. Her head knelt down, touching him with her snout. After a couple of seconds, she could hear all the bones snapping back together and the wounds close. After that, she felt her energy drain even more. "Thank you for helping," she said to them. Lying down on the ice to preserve her strength, she looked up at the clouded sky. Dark clouds were coming from the West, and she knew a blizzard was coming soon. They needed to find shelter before the storm would hit, and she didn't like the cold and snow that much. |

Nozdorm was looking how the others fight is going. Kodak finished in the same time. I don´t want be his enemy. Then he looked at Alara. If i didn´t waste too many energy, i could help her. Kodaks intervention was end the Alaras fight. But one of the attackers flee. Hmm he want save his life, very good idea. Alara came to him. When she starts healing him, the broken bones starts growing together. It was painfull but not much. Thanks Alara, for help. And what happend there ? I saw one of the attackers fly away. When Alara looked to the west he looked too. Those clouds doesn´t look good. He starts feel better. Well i think we should find some cover. |

Alara nodded unconsciously at Nozdormu's response. She was listening, but not fully. Part of her was thinking deeply. If there were four black dragons here, one definite on killing her, and the others there for back up. She had no idea why they wanted her dead, for she did nothing to them, but when that one black dragon was let go, which he was far out in the distance, he would no doubt tell the others about their misfortune. She switched feet uncomfortably, not sure what to do. Reinforcements would probably be on their way, and the storm was starting to thunder toward them. She could even see the snow coming down in the distance. It was almost like rain streaking down, except there were a lot of flakes falling, and they were coming closer. In the distance, from where she was earlier with raking her claws and swerving, there was an opening in the big, mountain of ice. It was a cave, and there would be cover from the storm, and possibly the dragons who would no doubt come. "Let's go." With that, she jumped off of the ground, swinging her wings, lifting herself higher into the air. Soon, the two other dragons were following her in the air, and only minutes later, she was landing in front of the cave. As she stepped inside, she could see markings on the wall, like claws being raked against them. Shards of ice had melted permanately onto the ground, and there was a scent of dragon. As she walked around the cave, inviting new smells to her nostrils, she soon found no other dragon was in the cave. "It's free to come in." |

Kodak watched the dragon fly away and saw that everyone was safe. He then started to wonder about the dragon he sent away. What did I just do?!? He could come back with more! Crap!!! Why do these things always happen to me? He looked at the fleeing dragon and almost flew after it until he saw the storm clouds. He then looked to where Alara was looking and saw a cave. When she started flying towards it saying lets go and Nozdormu saying a storm was coming he flew off after her looking back at Nozdormu making sure he was folowing. He waited while Alara checked inside the cave and wondered why the weaker one was checkinh to make sure no one was inside. He walked in when she said it was safe and sat down next to her making sure there was enough room for Nozdormu. Soooo....What do we do while we wait the storm out? |

Nozdormu followed Alara and Kodak. I hope that storm will not be for long time. When they reach the cave, storm was close. Alara went to the cave. I hope no one is there. He looked in to the storm. Hmm if i could do something like this i will be one of the strongest dragon. I must more practise. When Alara said that its save he followed Kodak . When Nozdormu entered into the cave he saw marks every where. Well some dragon lives here and i think we meet him very soon, that storm will bring him back home. Nozdormu sat next to Kodak. Dragon who live here will came back soon. That storm is very dangerous and this is the only safety place around. When Kodak ask what they should do, Nozdormu have some questions. He look at Alara. Al what they want ? It look like that the first knows you. I´am apologize if is something personal. |

Finally, Nozdormu and Kodak entered the cave, and already the temperature in the cave turned dreadfully cold, as wind from the storm seemed to come in from the entrance, even though it wasn't directly blowing inside. So she laid down on the cave floor, trying to stay warm, but already the blood that she had lost seemed to make her feel pretty dizzy along with the cold. She shivered, trying to keep warm. Nozdormu asked about the first dragon who was attacking her. She shook her head, smiling sadly. When I was young, he killed my guardian, and I was there when it happened. I'm not sure why he wants to kill me, and I'm not sure why he killed my guardian in the first place. I just want to be safe again, to not fear, but I know that that will only be a dream, a wish that will never come true. Reinforcements will come soon, but hopefully the storm will slow them down. With that, she tried to curl up closer, trying to preserve her warmth, but none came. Instead, she lay curled on the floor, shivering, trying to stay warm. I'm so cold... |

Kodak shook his head in disgust as Alara said she doesn't know why they want to kill her. As long as you have us dragon with you, you are perfectly safe. He looked out and then noticed Alara getting closer to them. He walked over to her after she said she was cold. He sat down, then started to build a shield in the entrace of the cave using his ice magic. He made sure air could still circulate throught the room but knew that by doing this the room would get warmer with their body heat being trapped in the cave. He then layed down next to her and wrapped his wing around her. He concentrated on heating up the wing and letting the rest of his bosy heat travel to the wing. Knowing ice magic, his body was used to such cold temperatures that he was putting it through now. Warming up yet? You'll be safe with us don't worry... Do you know fire magic? Nozdormu, do you know fire magic? We could use fire right now but I don't know the magic. |

When Nozdormu heard Alaras story and Kodak response he assure her. Noone will hurt you. And if somebody even badly look at you he will feel our revenge. After that he heard as Alara said she feel cold. I forgot that she don´t have ability to using a fire. He get closer to her and try her warm up with his body. He saw as Kodak starts using his ice magic to make an ice wall. Good idea Kodak. He said and wait until he finished. If i control the circulation of warm wind it helps her. After Kodak sat down next to Alara from second side Nozdormu heard his ask. Yes i can use fire magic, i thought how exactly use it. Nozdormu starts concentrating. If i have more energy i could do it easier. He open his mouth and stars breath a fire into the air, then he direct this warmed wind to Alara. Every part of her body was exposed his warm wind. He stop the fire, for couple of time and then do it again. After some time he stops and asked. Its better now ? |
