Name: Neferet Dragon type: Western Age: 18 Gender: Female Clan: --- Position: --- Magic (Strength) Energy: Mastered Ice: Strong Healing: Strong Appearance: Neferet thinks she gorgeous, but in all reality, she is rather plain looking. She has white scales with a hint of gray mixed in. They are very small and rounded, like a snake’s. Her eyes are a deep purple color. There is a row of white spines running down the middle of her back, along with two white horns that spiral back towards her tail. Her teeth are an ivory color. Neferet’s wings are a light grey, like a dove’s. There are white and yellow feathers scattered through out her wings. Her claws look like they are made of black stone. There is a small yellow birthmark in the shape of a star inside of twin crescent moons on her left shoulder blade. It glows faintly during a new moon (picture of it is attached). Neferet is about 21 feet tall at the shoulder, 43 feet long from the tip of her nose to tail, and has about a 90 foot long wingspan Personality: On the surface, Neferet appears sweet and kind, but just beneath the surface is a selfish, sadistic bitch. She will sell others out to make herself look good. She enjoys holding power over people in any way she can. She is very vain and arrogant and seems to be ignorant to the fact that the world doesn’t revolve around her. She doesn’t ever truly respect anyone, only pretends to in order to get ahead. She is very manipulative, and has learned how to tell people only the parts of the truth they want to hear. She doesn’t show her true colors until she knows that she has some one’s full trust, and even then only if she knows she’s getting something from it. Otherwise, she pretends to be very caring and calm. Part of her ploy is she pretends to hate fights and dishonesty. To top it off, she pretends to hate it when people are being picked on or tormented, though in truth, she takes great pleasure in watching. It would take a lot to get Neferet to change. History: Neferet was always the light of her parent’s eyes, and as soon as Neferet could talk, she took advantage of this. She would deliberately make trouble or hurt herself, and then would blame her sister. Neferet always enjoyed watching her sister’s hide become marred with what would become a net of scars, but was frustrated at how her sister's spirit didn't break. In between watching her sister be beaten, her parents taught her magic and how to hunt, even though they only let her practice a little bit at a time, afraid that she would over exert herself. Neferet longed for a chance to go and hone her skills, but her parents seemed to cling to her, stifling her chance. She grew jealous at Nyx's ability to escape for an entire day and not be noticed, and so used her jealously and her main motive for ruining her sister's life. Her opportunity of freedom came when Nyx struck out against their father, severely injuring him before she fled. But still Nyx's life had to be ruined, for all the more freedom that Nyx could gain by running away, Neferet would have to be stuck with their parents. That night, Neferet murdered her father as he slept and made it look as if Nyx had snuck back and done it. Neferet told her mother that she would track Nyx down, and left to continue ruining her sister’s life. Neferet was 12. She searched for her sister, somehow reaching areas before Nyx had come through, and ruined her name there before moving on to hunt down her sister. After 4 dragon years, she managed to find her sister living happily with no one hearing what she had supposedly done. Neferet quickly changed that, but she couldn’t get one dragon to believe her lies-Ra’ev. This pushed Neferet harder to ruin Nyx's life, now that someone could potentially deny Neferet's stories. Neferet followed Nyx and Ra’ev wherever they went, continuing to spread the lies about her sister. Everywhere, the same cycle repeated. She’d come just before others in the area really got to know them and delightedly shattered their hopes that they had lost her for good, along with their reputations. When Neferet was 18, she couldn’t find her sister anymore. She searched for her, hoping that it was still soon enough to ruin her sister’s reputation. She learned from a dragon that Nyx and Ra’ev had flown off to a new land. After finding out which direction Nyx and Ra’ev had taken off in, Neferet flew after them. She landed on an island that her sister and Ra’ev had rested on about halfway through the flight. She saw that Ra’ev was tired, and also that he told Nyx to continue on. That night, as he rested, Neferet held him down with her ice magic and broke his wings, leaving him in great pain. Just before she left him writhing in pain against his ice bonds, she told him “Good luck flying with two broken wings. And to think, my sister will think her chance at happiness left her” before laughing and flying after her sister. She landed in Selzar about a week or two after Nyx and has been biding her time, waiting for the right moment to reduce Nyx’s life to cinders. Picture: None Other: If her history doesn’t make it apparent, Neferet loves making her sister’s life miserable. Neferet’s birthmark glows during new moons.
