Remember. Remember the three hundred in Thermopylae. Martyrs for their country, their land, who refused to bow down to the Persian king. Remember. Remember the army back in 1940, who fought Mussolini for all they were worth, to defend their freedom, their family. Remember. Remember the youths of the Polytechnic University, who fought for democracy, to pull down the tyrant, to return Greece to her people. The Greek has always fought for liberty, for freedom, to destroy the despot on his throne, outnumbered, outclassed, yet his spirit of fire has always prevailed. Greece never dies, no danger does she fear. She only holds her head high, supported by the brave Greeks who give their blood to defend her against the Persian who strikes at the little land, only to get his hand bitten by fire. I need a hug now. >.> |

Awesome. These poems are the best. Showing the warrrior spirit of Greece, and they´re fight against the enemy. Just awesome. |
