Name: Azurelia Dragon Type: Western European Age: 20 Gender: Female Clan: Bahiri Clan position desired: 2nd Healer Desired Magic: Water: Mastered Healing: Mastered Energy: Very good. Appearance: Azura stands at 22ft tall, is 45 ft long and has a total wingspan of 92 feet. She's a light blue in color, like the clear sky on a summer's day. Her scales are smooth and almost fused together at the edges to keep her warm and waterproof when she's submerged. The only exception are the gills on her neck which allow her to breathe underwater. Her toes, tipped by sharp and long ivory talons, are connected with a webbed film that's almost completely translucent, just like her wing membrances, which are more opaque. Her eyes are a light gray like the silver cod she so loves to eat. Finally, her tail ends in a sort of fish-tail imitation, used mostly for speed and steering, but also for a decoy. it's at the start of these flippers that the spikes that go down the length of her spine end. Personality: Azurelia is what you'd call a rock. She's very patient, but very hard headed. She's very proud and doesn't like amdmitting others are better than her, and will indeed fight to surpass them and herself in everything. However, she can be very loving and tender when she wants to, especially when it's someone she likes. She's quick to trust and wants to share things with people, to form ties. perhaps it's due to losing her family, but she loves others' company. Never pity, just their company. History: Azurelia was born one snowy winter night, along with two male eggs. Due to the cold, however, her mother took ill and died just after the labour, leaving her father to care for her and her brothers. Being a hunter in the pack, it was hard for him to balance childcare and hunting, so they grew up mostly with their Aunt Linzie. When she was six, she started playing with the ligth when swimming once and accidentally caused a small explosion. it was the birth of her energy magic. Soon after it manifested herself, she was taught by the current master in the clan, but she wasn't the best with it. With hard work she brought it to a good level, but it was never natural to her. healing though, healing was another matter. her father looked emotional when she'd told him she could heal. it was apparently her mother's specialty, the mother he hardly spoke of. He immediately made arrangements to have her tutored and soon she was excelling at it. it filled her with joy. One day, however, she had to lose that joy. Her brothers argued bitterly with her father, so much so that they left the clan, voweing to never return. Having lost two thirds of his last clutch with his late mate, her father fell into depression and passed away. left alone, Azurelia took a while to recover fully from her family's scattering. It still shows in her eyes sometimes, but she's mostly recovered. After all, her father died well over a year ago. |
