Name: Archimedes Nickname: Arch Age: 23 Type: Western European Gender: Female Clan: Kukrion Clan Position: Healer Magic desired: Wind(mastered) Healing(mastered) Earth(mastered) Ice(mastered) Appearance: Being at 23 feet tall, Archimedes’ scales are a deep midnight blue that almost seem black at night, but are visibly blue during the day. The scales are completely flat against her body that help her glide through the wind and sky. Her length is at 46 feet, and running along her back are three inch long, inky black spikes. Her wingspan is 92 feet and instead of the normal leathery, wing membrane, Archimedes has soft, downy-like flight feathers that is the same color as her scales blue and darken the more they go out. Her eye color is a little odd for the left one is a dark blue and the other is a golden yellow, but it is her blind eye. Her horns point back and then bend down slightly and are the same inky black as her spikes. In between those two horns are rows of small feathers ending at the back of her head. She also has a white scar running from just below the bottom of her brow, across the eyelid of her golden eye and ends at the bottom of her jaw. Personality: Archimedes’ personality is different than the ones she’s been around. She doesn’t really like to be around others very long because bad things always happen whenever she is around others. She is quite shy, and doesn’t talk very much. She is almost always in a grumpy mood and is mean when others don’t leave her alone when she wants to be. She likes to keep to herself and is very patient. For you to gain her trust, she has to trust you with her life. She has emotional problems, and doesnt like to be touched becuase of what her parents did to her and her brother when they were young. She is very cautious since she was attacked which made her blind but she wants to get rid of the fear of being scared all the time. History: Archimedes was born to the lowest ranking members of her clan. She only had one brother in her clutch, seeing as the others either died, or were eaten by nearby predators. When she hatched, she was just over one foot in height, a foot and a half in length, and her wingspan was just under two feet. Even though her brother had leathery membrane, she was born different. Her wing membrane was actually feathers and one of her eyes was a golden yellow, different from her dark blue one. Since she looked different from the rest of the dragons in the clan, her parents beat her often and left massive bruises. One day her brother stood up for her but ended up being beaten himself and ever since, her relationship with her brother grew. When she was four, the age at which she is supposed to learn how to fly, no one taught her or her brother how to, so they helped each other and taught each other how to. They both learned how to fly pretty quickly. The feathers on her wings helped her by the wind brushing through them, lifting her up and helping her hover and glide. When her brother and her turned seven, they both had mastered flying. During this time of her life, she started to notice that she could control the element of wind. At first she could just make the wind blow a calming breeze but she wanted to do so much more. Between this age and nine, she continued to practice controlling and creating more things with the wind and started seeing some signs of being able to heal. She found out one day that one of the bruises was gone. Ever since, whenever her parents beat her and her brother, she would just heal them and it didn't leave her exausted. She continued to train both her wind and healing magic until she mastered them both at the age of ten. When she finished with that, another ability of magic started to show. She was out in a forest one day and she had finished hunting, she wanted to go to sleep but she was to tired to make a nest. She thought so much of it that out of nowhere a nest her size appeared. It shocked her so much that it scattered everywhere, covering herself with dirt and branches. She sat there for a minute before she wanted to try again. She concentrated on a new nest and when she opened her eyes there it was once more. When she returned home, she found her brother laying outside of their sleeping den, beaten so bad that he looked like he was about to die. She got so mad that she wanted her parents to die. Since her brother was to big for her to carry, she decided to heal him and take him away from their parents and continue to heal him until he was fully healed. It took about two days until they went back to their clan. Then they were told that their parents were dead. They didnt show any emotion since they were neither happy nor sad. Some of the members offered to take them in, but they refused. They wanted to continue to take care of themselves. By the time they were both fifteen, they had grown into healthy young adults. Archimedes had mastered the earth magic and her brother had mastered all that he could learn. During the time since their parents had died, they both kept to themselves and Arch had learned yet another magic ability. When winter set in is when she learned she could control the element of ice. It took her five years to completly master, but by then, she left the clan, but her brother stayed. She traveled around the island that her clans territory was on but remained a rogue for four years. During those four years she honed her magical abilities and learned how to do a little extra with all four which kept her alive and well protected but when she went to go find some food, she let down her guard and a lone bull, about her size attacked her. He scratched at her, hitting her in the face which gave her a huge gash on the right side of her face, starting at the bottom of her brow and ending at the bottom of her jaw. She then luckily escaped but the cut had hit her yellow eye, making her blind but she healed it when she calmed down just a bit. She then came into an unfamiliar territory of a different island and noticed it belonged to a clan that lived in the desert. She didnt want to join because she didnt want them to die. Ever since her parents died mysteriously, bad things had been happening to anyone who hung around her. Her brother was beaten because he defended her and then her parents died because they beat him. She wasn't sure if she would join, but she had to get rid of her fear of bad things happening every time she was around someone. Edited by Valamuraka, Feb 2 2010, 06:22 PM.
