This character's size has been discussed with Silvera/Elazar and has been okayed by them. This character is to be a plot character with Luthicia. Name: Typhoon Age: 25 Species: Tyrant Wyvern Desired Magic: Fire: Mastered Lighting(Thunder): Mastered (magic are his main magical weapons, though he prefers not to use either, as it removes the pleasure of the fight through the shear power of them.) Appearance: This massive Wyvern is 60 foot tall, 120 foot long, has a 240 foot wingspan. A black and silver Wyvern whose appearance causes most to flee in terror. A Wyvern to top all Wyverns, this one is easily one of the most fearsome. His wings are silver colored with pure black, tribal flame patterns all over it, with 3 ring circles at the ends of the webbing spread between each of his elongated wing fingers. His underside also has tribal patterns on it, very similar to those on his wings. The joint where all the wing fingers are attached has a row of large, very hard, razor sharp claws on it, each one nearly 7 and a half foot long. He has a very long tail, which makes up over half his length, at a total of 70 feet long, ending in a large club with talon-like claws on it's edges, and a row of razor sharp spikes forming on top, ending the row of heavily armored scales that extend from the base of his skull to the tip if his acid armed tail. He has a skull that bares such a striking resemblance to that of a Tyrannosaurus Rex that scientists are calling him the last descendants of the Tyrannosauridae linage of Dinosaurs, though it's doubtful that any true relation exists, as no Tyrannosaur found has ever been half this creature's size. He has a set of 5 horns in the shape of a crown, and 4 spikes growing out of either side of the base of his lower jaw, totaling 8, and a chin spike so long it can be used to skewer small food items, such as a deer, it is truly a stunning sight to see. The chin spike is an impressive 7 and a half foot long. With his teeth reaching 5 feet in length in some cases, with flames that could burn through the strongest of armors with little trouble and a relatively long neck, he is without doubt one of the most vicious creatures to come against... Personality: Cold, cruel, foul tempered and cunning, this Wyvern's wise and calculating mind is the bane of all who oppose the beast. He's known for his habit of killing any Dragon or Wyvern that crosses him with disrespect, some people call him more of a necessary evil in the fight against the Dragons, and that he may one day end up wiping them out others of his kind, if they exist. His occasional foul mood is a death sentence to those who cross it. History: Typhoon is a gigantic dragon, the dragon of your kids worst nightmares. He’s in his prime at only 25 years old, 2,500 in human years, and he does show it. This massive beast is twice the size of the largest of Wyvern’s, being double it’s size. This silver and black Wyvern tops all, but it wasn’t always that way. Back when Typhoon had been born, he was the runt of the family, always had been. Despite having an older brother and 2 older sisters, they treated him with respect. When he was 10, yet, still was puny, barely at 10 foot tall while his siblings were closer to 15, his father tried to kill him to get rid of the runt, but his older siblings intervened and together, the trio managed to stop his father’s attack. Angered extremely at this, plus what he had found out Typhoon had done which was murder another dragon which is why he tried to kill him, the Wyvern roared to the heavens, before flying back to the cave, raping his mate and the four’s mother, before killing her. As it turned out, the father, who was named Hunter, had a history of losing his temper, often killing another dragon which is why they lived away from any other dragons. This was the beginning of Typhoon’s destiny, as it turned out, this traumatic event brought out the inner beast that lay dormant inside the Tyrant Wyvern. Typhoon grew substantially once he found, literally doubling his size over the course of the next week, but, his bones wer very sore afterwards and he barely could move. He had to wait a few days before returning with a vengeance. The monster moved in like a real typhoon would, no mercy, as he ripped his father to shreds in rage at what he had done to his mother. The young Wyvern, despite being only 10, was the size of a full grown dragon already. The monster nuzzled his siblings, saying a farewell as he lifted off and flew off into the sunset. The silver and black beast forever forgotten by time, or so they thought. They would have never guessed that he would return 15 years later, triple his current giant size. He was a brutal, cold blooded killer, showing no mercy. He gladly ripped any dragon to shreds that crossed him without the utmost of respect, sparing females but he would tell them to leave before he changed his mind. He somehow managed to remain hidden for those many years, living in the remote forests of Selzar, growing, plotting for revenge for all those who had tried to kill him, numerous times indeed. They did indeed track down and kill his 3 siblings, but once news spread of this, again the beast that had lay dormant inside him awoke yet again. He however would never have thought to find others half this size, let alone just a foot or two smaller. The Jorthian had came and found the great silver and black beast. He had to admit, they were not the brightest or best-looking creatures, even the females, but they accepted him for what he had done, all the murders he had committed. This was what Typhoon had become, leader of the mightiest beasts of the land, second only to one, a great dragon(spirit) named Luthicia. Edited by King, Jun 8 2010, 08:38 AM.

Thunder magic is indeed available, called Lightning. Seeing as most dragons are around thirty five feet long, I think a 15 ft claw is unfair to them. Keep the size, but please cut down the claw length. That could skewer a dragon injust one hit. From the wing joint. And a chin spike so long it can be used to skewer SUVs(in this case, his food) Again, please cut down a little. xD try not to make him too overpowered, because then it's no fun for anyone but you. . Angered extremely at this, the Wyvern roared to the heavens, before flying back to the cave, raping his mate and the four’s mother, before killing her. Oh yes. this makes an awful lot of sense. I have to be a vengeful, unbalanced father. My sons play up, so I have to go back, rape, then kill my innocent mate wh doesn't even know what for. Genius. People don't really work like that, King. Typhoon grew substantially once he found, almost instantly doubling his size. Again, this isn't Pokemon evolution. Have him grow rapidly and seek vengeance. Builds character and is less Sue-ish. I also think Luthicia isn't a Jorthian. She's a dragoness-spirit thing. Please revise. ^_^ |

I fixed it, or as much I can. I won't shrink his claws much, as most dragons are around 20 foot tall, which is 40 foot, though I put it from 15 to 10 as it must stay huge. As for the history, I edited that around to give you a reason as to why his father did that. |

Well, hmm... This all seems good, not too sure about how he grew so fast, but, we would probably have to wait to see what El/Sil has to say about it. I like him and don't see anything too bad anymore. If anyone else has a problem, then they can take him out, I accept him. |

Typhoon grew substantially once he found, almost doubling his size over the course of a day. Still does not make sense. If you give a biological as to why this happened, then I'll accept it. Longer period of time, please. And the claws are OK now. |

I'm sorry, but the only thing that you ran by me that I accepted was the base size. A 10 or 15 foot spike from his jaw? No, I'm sorry. Like Kari said I can not allow that. It makes your character untouchable in a fight, which is completely unfair to every other dragon here. Especially since this is going to be a character in the main plot and will be fighting in it at some point with other characters on this site. You will shorten the length of the spike to 5 feet or less or this character will not be accepted. You asked about the base size of the dragon and then took advantage of everything else that I said. This may be a plot character, but it still has to be realistic to what it is. Something does no rapidly increase in size and does not take some kind of penalty for it. I'm sorry, but this is not what you clarified with me, and I can not allow this character if it can't even be touched. All he'd have to do is lover his jaw to kill any dragon that approached him, and that's not fair to everyone else. I am moving this character back from the accepted board until that is fixed. unapproved. |

I fixed it, I think anyway. I made his chin spike smaller, I made his teeth smaller, and I edited the growth part. |

Okie, lets see now: "He has a very long tail, which makes up over half his length," While there's nothing overpowered about this, I think it's a little out of proportions. Liek a dog with a tail almost as long as its body. row of heavily armored scales that extend from the base of his skull to the tip if his acid armed tail This does not sound much like a wyvern, really. Also, acid armed? Unless it spouts acid, that doesn't really make sense. XD Your description is less and less like a wyvern as you move on. I'm still not very happy with your growth rate, but I'll let it pass for now. other than that, good. |
