Cobra sat there, yesterdays events replaying in her mind. Her stomach had ached a little in the morning but it was gone now, in the late afternoon. The sun was on the verge of going down and the moon showed perfectly in the light cloudless sky. The air was cool and getting colder. It felt good, after the heat of the day. The estimated heat was in the 70's, cool for how hot it had gotten. Kari and Zil were hear visiting and everyone else was happy. Naltanar and Calyptic seemed to have put their differences behind them for the time being, probably for Cobra. Kodak and Nira were spending a lot of time together and seemed to make a really nice couple. Her and Calyptic were doing good themselves. She still remembered that chat they had at the top of the falls. Everyone had noticed her better mood when she had returned. Although, she felt more awake and uncomfortable than usual. The small pain had returned and she just figured that her insides were still healing. Wait, didn't that get fully healed though? It shouldn't hurt anymore. Sil is too good with healing for it not to be fully healed. I can't be that close to laying. Or can I? I can't even remember the day... I don't want to remember it either. She shook her head, noticing she was worrying again. She had to stop worrying so much. But, one thing worried her, the broken egg never fully came out. Only pieces of it had. So, the egg was still in her, not cutting her now, but it could still cut her on it's way out. There she goes again, worrying. But this time it was for the right reason. She decided to let it go as nothing. She would worry about it later, which she didn't know that later would be soon. |

It was getting late, Sure Naltanar wasn't as active as he normally would be, but he was still recovering from the task he had been given to himself. To walk back to the clan, he didn't argue with himself over the choice, but rather had accepted it. He sat in his own little corner his orange eyes upon Cobra. They didn't leave her, after all he was a healer... one of the only ones within the clan so far as he knew. It was why he never let his eyes wander... If anything happened to her it would have to be him that had to save her with his ability to heal others. He didn't know about the egg that had broken within her womb, but he could tell... she was going to lay the eggs soon, He could see it or maybe it was just the fact that he knew it do to his ability to heal... to tell the truth he didn't know. Instead he sat and waited. Always watching his eyes never leaving her. He was a healer and it was his duty to ensure that she was doing what was necessary to keep her eggs well. He made a decision after a moment of thought and found himself standing, he did so as silently as he was able but that was easier said then done. Once he was up moved forward his eyes studying her carefully looking at all the signs, he decided that it would be in the next day... maybe two at the most. “2 days at the most... You should rest and conserve your strength Cobra.” Naltanar stated, the words were not loud. They were soft and yet knowing at the same time. He stood their next to her not bothering to say anything else and frankly in this she couldn't tell him no, he was the healer and she was not and if he had to tie her to the earth with stone he would do so... Well if she didn't listen, but then that could cause trouble with her new mate so he sighed letting the idea slip away as if it was just a gust of wind. It seemed that things were just so complicated at the moment... He just didn't know why or what he was missing in the tangled mess of his mind. |

When Cobra looked over she saw the gaze of those strange beautiful orange eyes on her. The ones that belonged to Naltanar. She didn't show any emotion, knowing her loyalty was for Calyptic, although it was hard for her not to smile at him. So, she let out a small smile in his direction. She watched as he walked over to her. “2 days at the most... You should rest and conserve your strength Cobra.” I wish it was more. This discomfort is killing me. I can't seem to find a comfortable position. And, I fear for my birth... Something happened yesterday… One of the eggs ruptured and the rest of it never came out... I think I pushed it too far yesterday. But, if I hadn’t, Aries would probably be dead. She let out a heavy sigh. She didn’t know what to do, the only way to get the egg out was go through the labor or cut open her stomach to her womb. She liked the first option better. It sounded less painful. Well, it depended on how the egg came down. Hopefully it came down the round way first. Her discomfort raised and soon she was standing, walking around her nest. She didn’t feel like stopping. She had all this energy, why should she? She continued walking in a circle, the discomfort slowly going away. But, then it came back, more intensified. Now she wasn’t comfortable standing or walking. She tried lying down. No luck. She sat, still no luck. She felt small stabs of pain. She ignored them all. She couldn’t be this close to labor. Not yet. She shouldn’t even be pregnant. She shouldn’t be pregnant, so why should she go into labor? None of this was right. She was too confused to think about it now though. The only thing she could think about was the discomfort. She kneaded the sand with her paws. |

Cobra...? Aries asked softly, disbelievingly. She was standing somewhat to the side of Cobra and Naltanar, about ready to join them before Cobra spoke those words. She was now rooted to the spot, her eyes fixed on the emerald dragoness for a split second before she lowered her gaze. I... I'm sorry. she only said softly, sighing. Guilt bit at her intensely for causing her that much pain. After all, she'd suffered something similar during her own birth. But this was serious, and potentially deadly. If not all the egg had come out, it might shred her from the inside during the labor. We have to take the egg out of you. she said, approaching her now and glancing at Naltanar. She didn't know him, really, but had briefly seen him from afar. Cobra was the only one in Kukiron she knew, apart from, of course, Zil, who was resting now. If we leave it til your labor, it could shred your shute. she explained. Let me do it now, before the labor stars. But if I do, there's the danger that it might trigger your labor earlier than planned or expected. she sighed, looking at her friend to make the decision. |

(what I got from Nalt is besically ignore that Nalt is there for he is not really in a rp'ing mood at the time) Cobra gave a quick glance at Aries when she said her name questionaly. She then gave her full attention to Aries when she said she was sorry. She gave a caring, forgiving smile. There is nothing to be sorry about. It's not your fault you had a stressful day. It's also not your fault I was traveling so close to labor and using so much energy. That part was my fault. Nothin was your fault so don't be sorry at all. She then took a small step back as Aries said she could die if they didn't take that egg out. She knew Aries was right, but she didn't want to believe it. Her life was bad enough with everything. First it was losing her clan then brother, then she gets raped and of course gets pregnant, being forced to go through baring labor for kids that would have no real father. And now she had to get cut open just for his stupid egg. This wasn't the life she expected to have. But, she coudln't die. She had to be strong and alive for the clan, being cut open couldn't scare her. It woudln't scare her. Determination filled her eyes, washing away all fear. Ok, I understand. Lets get this done so I can be at peace with my mate and eggs. She looked down at the ground, knowing she had to do this. She then lay down, resting and getting ready for what was to come. |

Aries didn't much like the place they were at, but it would have to do. She didn't find it sterile enough for the operation she knew she'd have to perform. I'll try to numb your stomach as much as possible. I'll also put you to sleep. Please don't fight the drowsiness that'll creep up on you. she told Cobra, using her Energy magic to sterilize the scales around the would and loosen them. She'd have to pull them off later. Sitting down next to the emerald dragoness' stomach, she began to numb the area while inducing sleep. Once she was sure the area was numbed enough to not distress her in her slumber, and that her friend was asleep, she took a deep breath and began. Carefully, she pried scales off her stomach in a curved line along her lower belly, which she would cut open. Following, she wrapped her tail around her, over her loins and to the other side of her stomach, holding up the eggs' weight. This would stop them spilling out once her womb was open. Then, she raised a sterilized talon and took a deep breath, cutting along the cleared pinkish skin. First she broke open the skin, blood beginning to leak out, though not too much. She carefully cut through the thin layer of muscle and the thicker layers of fat before she hit the womb's wall, which she broke very very carefully and not along all the way. Despite her tail's support, she saw Cobra's stomach lag somewhat and the pale shells of the eggs came into view. She'd have to avoid touching them, because she could very easily break another one, what with these shells still being very soft. She had to use her magic from here and her tongue, shich she sterilized with magic; the heat brought tears to her eyes and her mouth had dried out, especially as she was stoppering her saliva glands. using it, she began to softly remove eggshell fragments from where she could see them, having to edge in between the eggs. It took a long while, but in the end she was positive the womb was clean. She wished she had some water to gently cleanse the womb and make sure of it, but this was the best she could do in the arid desert. During the while of the operation, she had erected a spherical barrier around them made out of heat energy; it was what was protecting them from the wind and blown dust particles now; it was burning them into singes. Now Ariescould withdraw; she pulled back and painstakingly fixed the womb's outer wall, glad she'd not cut away any og the eggs' support. That meant that CObra didn't necessarily have to lay yet. Not necessarily. Such an operation could always trigger an early birth, though the eggs were of good size. Next came the fat and muscle, which she stichted together more easily, then finally the outer skin. Only a think scar remained and a line where scales were non-existent. She now let the barrier drop and slowly started lifting the sleeping spell, though she kept the numbing around the incision. Lying down by her side, quite tired but not exhausted, Aries noticed that several hours od concentration had passed. She could now only wait for Cobra to wake and help her back to the den. |

Cobra nodded as Aries told her not to fight the drowsiness that was about to come. She could in deed, feel the drowsiness start to overtake her. She listened to Aries, and let it take over her body, putting her into a deep slumber, making her miss the whole operation. Although, the feeling didn't completely escape her, probably about 95% escaped her, the other 5% was just like a fly on her stomach in her dream. She was flying over some plains, hunting. Two females were by her side, both looking like her, yet not all the way. They were smiling, doing flips in the air, flying over and under Cobra, laughing. She could also hear the sound of her own laugh, feel the smile on her own face, the warmth she had towards them. Flying on, she felt a small tingly feeling on her stomach, but nothing major. They stopped the noise as they came close to the prey they were hunting. The girls swooped down, catching the prey by surprise, and chasing them. How youthful they were. She swooped down, hunting her own prey. Yet, she couldn't tell what they were. She hunted them non-the less. They looked very lizard like. As she swooped down and bit the neck of one, sweet nector pooled inside her mouth, as what she now saw was a forgotten bee's nest. Her two daughters were munching on a deer together, as she cleaned out the nest of its honey. She then walked over and joined in on eating the dear. The meat was stringy, just how she liked it. She didn't have to hurt her teeth to get it off the deer. Then everything went blank, into a world of darkness slowly turning into light. When she opened her eyes, she could see Aries laying beside her, looking exausted. She could barely feel her bottom side, but she guessed it was a good thing, and the numbness was still there for a reason. She let out a little cough to clear her throat. She could tell from outside that many hours had passed. Her stomach still bothered her, but she had to be closer to labor with how much time has passes since that day. |

(sorry it took me so long and this is all I could come up with) Calyptic lay there, with his head on his forelimbs, sick with worry for Cobra. He had heard she went off to save a dragon called Aries and one of her eggs ruptured and not all of the egg shell came out. She had went off without him knowing and he didn't know what to do since he didn't know where she went off to. When they both returned, it felt like a part of his soul returned. When he heard that one of her eggs had broken and that she could die, his mind was filled with worry and he was with her wherever she went. When she had to have the rest of the shell taken out or that when she went into labor, it would cause trouble. So, the day that happened, he stayed away from her, as much as it pained him, but he didn't want to be in the way, so when it was, he left to go to Lake Lorigara. When he reached the lake, he went to lay down and fell into a deep sleep. Calyptic woke up all of a sudden. He raised his head and took a sniff of the air. He had a sharp nose and what caught his attention was blood. That's Cobra's blood. I'd know that scent anywhere. He lifted his large body off of the soft grass and positioned himself in the direction of the clan. He jumped into the sky and headed back to the clan. When he arrived, he went to were the clan slept and saw Aries laying beside Cobra. He smiled when he saw that she was ok. He walked over to her to see that she was awake. Hey he told her, putting his maw on hers. How you feeling?he asked her. Of course he knew she had to be in pain, but he would let her answer. |

She's feeling fine and will continue to do so unless you provoke different feelings in her. Aries told the newcomer roughly, on edge after the amounts of energy she had had to use. One look at Cobra's face told her the attitude wsn't needed, however, and she took a breath, relaxing. Sorry. She's fine now. I took the eggshell shards out and checked the remainder of the eggs. They're fine. she told the newcomer, looking down at her chest. her forepaws, chest and higher stomach were drenched in blood and some other see-through mucus from the womb; she looked like someone had stabbed her and kept at it repeatedly. Felt like it too. We should get you inside, Cobra. You need water and rest. You. she said, looking up at Calyptic, whom she didn't know. pb]Do you know water magic?[/b] |

Cobra looked over as she heard a dragon coming. It was Calyptic, asking how she was feeling. I'm feeling fine my lord. A little dizzy yes, but I don't think it will be a problem soon enough. She looked over at Aries, a little shocked at her bitterness at first, but realising how much all of this must have taken from her. A thought popped into her head when Aries said she check the rest of the eggs, them being fine. Kari, could you see how many other eggs there were? She wondered, not knowing how or if she would want to go into labor at this time. She nodded to Aries as she said they needed to get her inside and get her water and rest. I know you don't know water magic, but your ice will work just as fine Calyptic. She lifted her head, slowly and carefully turning onto her side, careful not to move too fast, knowing she could easily pass out. She gave out a small blush, realising she had just answered for Calyptic. She looked down towards the ground, looking up making her a bit dizzy. When the dizzyness went away, she looked up again, the dizzyness no longer there. We can get moving once I can get myself up without passing out. She let out a soft chuckle, trying to lighten the situation, take away the tiredness of Aries and her both. |

When Calyptic went to Cobra and asked if she was alright. I'm feeling fine my lord. A little dizzy yes, but I don't think it will be a problem soon enough. The white dragoness, Aries, told him roughly She's feeling fine and will continue to do so unless you provoke different feelings in her. Calyptic glared at her for a moment but let it slide. He knew she had to be exhausted due to the surgery she just performed. Aries looked at Cobra, and she took a relaxing breath, calming down. Sorry. She's fine now. I took the eggshell shards out and checked the remainder of the eggs. They're fine. Calyptic smiled. He was glad she was fine. I'm glad your alright, M'lady he told her, gently touching her maw. Cobra then asked if Aries saw how many there were. We should get you inside, Cobra. You need water and rest. You, Aries started Do you know water magic? She asked him. Calyptic started to answer when Cobra nodded to Aries when she said that they needed to get inside. I know you don't know water magic, but your ice will work just as fine Calyptic. He looked down at her smiling again. Cobra then lifted her head slowly and turned to her side. She then blushed a little, for what, Calyptic had no clue. We can get moving once I can get myself up without passing out. Cobra finally said after a few moments of silence, ending with a small laugh. Since I am not a water user, and you said that my ice would work just fine, what do you want me to do? Directing his question to both dragonesses. He didn't know what Cobra wanted him to do with his ice magic, but he could help her up if she couldn't do it herself. |
