Young Adult Dragon

Name: Alyara Mi’niri Age: 27 Gender: Female Type: Western European Clan: Juthivar Position: Betess, if not then hunter Magic: Earth(mastered) Energy(mastered) Healing(mastered) Appearance: Her scale color is a deep shade of cyan with tiger-like stripes all over her entire body that is a cerulean-like blue. Instead of having spikes gun along her back, she has a long jet black mane that ends just halfway down her tail which gradually ends with a point. She has feathers of golden eagles and cardinals in her hair from the top of her head to the base of her neck. She has two ears that are a mix of cat-like and dragon-like on the side of her head sitting straight up and they are the same color as her scales. Her wing membrane is a lighter cyan than her scales and has the same tiger-like stripes covering the membrane and they are a lighter cerulean blue. Her body structure is cat-like and thinner than most. She has broad shoulders and her waist is small. She may be small and thin but she has lean muscles on her whole body. Her eyes are a golden yellow and are also cat-like, slanted up and are abnormally larger than regular dragon eyes, which helps her see better in the dark. She is unnaturally smaller than those her age but is tough and hardy. She stands a mere 21 feet high, is 42 feet long and her wingspan is roughly 85 feet in width. Personality: Alyara has always had a thing with nature when she was young, like her soul was apart of it. She respects it and will do anything to protect it, even if it costs her her life. She is kind to those who respect the environment but will be hostile to those who endanger it. When she is around younglings, she acts like a mother to them and even like a youngling herself. Sometimes she has two different personalities. One calm, kind and easy to talk to when she is with nature and when her home is safe. The other is hostile, dangerous and difficult to get to when her home is being put I danger. When that personality comes, her mind is set on only one thing, protecting the thing that she loves the most. It takes a lot to gain her trust, but when she does, she is a great friend and powerful ally. History: When Alyaras egg was layed, she stood out from her brothers and sisters. While their eggs were normal purples and blacks, hers was a deep shade of cyan with cerulean blue tiger stripes covering the shell. When her brothers and sisters hatched, they were colored like their parents but Alyara was the last to hatch. Her scale color was different and she was abnormally smaller than her siblings. When she was only 5 years old, she respected and understood nature to its fullest. She would protect her home, the forest that she lived in and its inhabitants. When she first went hunting with her mother, she was excited. But when the time came to kill her prey, she couldnt do it. It would cause her pain to kill one for her own benifit, but if she had to do it to survive, she would. But when she did, she would kneel down beside the animal and whisper a prayer of thanks for giving its life to keep hers alive and that its spirit would be with her clans spirit goddess. When Alyara and her mother returned to the clan, her mother seemed worried and told her father of the situation. Her father eventually talked to her about it, asking her if she would just hunt like a normal dragon, but she couldnt. So her father left her alone about it and had gotten used to the idea that one of his children had a problem with killing an animal to survive. When she turned 18, she had mastered the element of earth and energy. She had wanted to learn how to control the element of earth since she understood it better than most. She could make things grow if they had died and make her surroundings more suitible for the animals that had either lost thier homes or their old ones were just not good enough. She would make friends with animals that were normally her prey and protect them from other predators. One day, when she was out taking a walk, she heard a horrible shriek from the forest. She landed only to see a black male dragon taking off with a dead animal she had befriended in his mouth. Since that day, her hostile personality had erupted from within her. The one that day was the opposite of what she was. She became hostile and very dangerous. She chased the male down and attacked him from behind. When she did, he dropped the animal to turn on her but she dove down to catch her friend. When the animal was safely in her arms, she flew away quickly from the now angry male and landed safely in the cover of the thick forest she grew up in. She dug a grave to put the animal in and while she dug, she cried hard. She couldnt bear to see an animal, let alone one of her friends, be killed by a dragon she didnt know and then seeing it being carried off in the males mouth. It made her shudder. After the incident in the forest, she left her clan to go find a more peaceful place to live. She found a little island off the coast of where her clan lived. It had thick underbrush and tropical trees everywhere and fauna she had never seen before. When she turned 25, she had become a master at healing. She decided the day she left her clan to learn how to heal. She would use it to help any wounded animal she found, even if it was a predator. During the next 2 years, she had befriended some more animals that were smaller than her. Most of them were predators like herself but she didnt hunt the fauna of the island, she only ate the vegatation that she could find and would only eat an animal if she didnt have to kill it herself. The animals she had made friends with had always stuck by her side and kind of made a clan all their own. A few months after she turned 27 she decided to leave the little island and go find a new clan to call her family. She came to an even bigger island that most of the fauna called Selzar and that it had four clans. One was in the desert, not her kind of environment. Another was by the sea, one was in the mountain range and the one that sparked her interest was near a forest. She flew down towards the ground and found the place beautiful.
