Name: Lilly Dragon Type: Western European Age: 17 Gender: Female Clan: Kukiron Clan position desired: Normal Member Desired Magic: Earth: Strong Energy: Mastered Water: Weak Appearance: Lilly is a short dragon. She early reaches 19 feet, and this is if she is stretching her head straight up, off the ground. Her wing length is 40 and her over all length is 80. Her scales are a light pink, taking on a flower like aspect as some areas look to be wither and others seem to be a bit more red. The webbing on her wings are a wither pink on the underside but on the top they take on the redder pink look. Her claws and fangs are white, though her claws are normally dirty due to her garden work. Her eyes are pure white as she is completely blind. As such her nose has a lot of scars and is rough at the touch due to bumping into things. She's a very skinny dragon, not a sick skinny, but one that shows she is not a fighter. Her wings are still strong enough to allow her to fly. Personality: Lilly is a very positive dragon. Always looking to the brighter side of things and enjoying each day. She is true to her friends and pays no mind to those that would try and make fun of her due to her blindness. Even though she is blind, she is still able to see (look to history) and enjoys gardening even if she lives in a desert. She grows all kinds of plants, anything she happens to find or someone will bering her. Lilly also has a sweet tooth so she often grows fruit to munch on during the summer. She also happens to have several animal companies that live with her in her garden. Though they are wild, she knows them all by smell and does not hurt them and they are often seen walking along side her as she tends to her garden. Her home is open to those that need a place to stay or time to recover from a battle/traumatizing event in their life or just need to relax. While her home is open to those that wish to be there, she is not afraid to scare someone off if they try to destroy her plants. Mess with her plants or resident animals, and one will be in for a world of hurt. Lilly loves to explore. She's often seen with her nose out sniffing the wild flowers and mumbling to her self sometimes as she debates on rather or not she could take care of a plant or trying to coax a animal to come to her. Every day, she ventures just a little father outside and around the clan lands. Due to being blind, her other sense are a lot stronger. She can tell if someone is lying and hear/smell things other's cannot. Lilly only has a few fears. The major one is swimming. She'll get into the water with a friend, but on her own she is scared of getting confused of where the surface is and drowning. Another is being lost. Though she is use to the clan lands, and willing to explore other lands, since she has no actually landmarks to go on and would have a hard time finding her way back. History: Lilly was born like any other dragon, hatching from the egg and entering the world on wobbly legs. From the moment she opened her eyes, her parents knew that their youngest daughter was blind due to how she was walking compared to her two other siblings, her older brother and sister. Her father had wanted to kill his blind child, not being able to take it as he watched his young newborn squeak non stop and bump into things. It was her mother that saved her, changing her father's mind and treating Lilly with much more care then her well siblings. Even though her father allowed her to live, he resented not killing her. He watched her grow but stayed distant, not wishing to get to attached to her as he knew she would die due to something she did not see. Her brother and sister were taught by their father learning how to hunt, use their magic, and fly as Lilly was mainly restricted to following her mother around. News of the blind dragon in the clan soon reached one elder dragon's ears and much intrigued, he set out to take a look at the handicapped dragon. The male meet Lilly and offered to help raise the youngster as he knew how Lilly's father acted around her. Her mother agreed, knowing that the elder would be a much better teacher then she would. From that day on, Lilly's life changed. The elder soon had Lilly learning magic, not any time of magic but energy magic. He taught her how to sense things around her with it, allowing her to maneuver around without having to worry about running into something. For several years she spent time under the elders watchful eye, quickly mastering her energy magic and over time allowing her self to see the world with her new 'magical sense'. With her energy magic, she could sense the energy in anything alive (plants and animals) which allows her to 'see' to some extent. While still unable to sense rocks and other non-living things she now stands a better chance of not running into something. During this time when she had no training for her energy magic, she often went to mastering her earth and water magic. She did this by taking care of the few plants that lived around the clan lands, practicing bering water from far away to the plants and even using her magic to try and get the plant a better strong hold in the harsh environment. Soon the elder was teaching her how to fly. While she was timid of the idea, he had her believe in her self and her magic and she soon started to grow confidence and strength in her wings. It took her a lot longer to learn how to fly then a normal dragon but she still enjoys gliding along the clouds and enjoying her self. Soon after turning 12, her mother became ill. No matter what the healers did, nothing they could do would heal her. Lilly grew distant from her family, not wishing to tell him them that she could sense and even 'see' to some extent her mother's life force fading each day. She took care of her mother, wishing to give the only family she had that treated her like a normal dragon some comfort before death. During this time, the elder had stopped teaching her as she gained as much knowledge in the magic abilities as he could teach her. After a week of being ill, her mother passed away. In a fit of grief and rage, her father kicked her out of the den blaming Lilly for his mates death. Her two siblings said nothing, not wishing to earn the ire of their father. Lilly said nothing as well, and instead simply left her home and took up resident in a large den at the base of the mountain. From then on, Lilly only saw the rest of her family in passing; her father will never acknowledge her and her siblings will only ask a few simple questions, rather staying away from her. Even though she spent the next few months of her life alone and taking care of her self and decorating the inside and outside of her cave with plants. Over five years, dragons would come to her lair for some much needed R&R and she gladly accepted them, offering them a scenic place to stay as they recovered from hat ever troubled them. Lilly hopes to find friends that will accept her as any normal dragon and not baby her as many in the clan try to do. She's knows her chances of finding a male are pretty low but still holds some hope that a male is out there for her. Picture: Other: |
