Name: Adonis Dragon Type: Western European Age: 22 Gender: Male Clan: Juthivar Clan position desired: Alpha Desired Magic: Lightning-Mastered Fire-Mastered Earth-Mastered Appearance: Adonis is a very large golden dragon with a height of around 30 feet, a length of around 90 feet, and a wingspan of around 120 feet. His eyes are a beautiful emerald green, almost the exact color of the jewel. His claws are long and curved like talons to grip his prey with unimaginable strength. They are a smooth pure copper and are designed to hold in place so if you’re caught in his grip you better pray to god you can get out somehow. The two long horns on the sides of his bulky sleek skull are the same color and are sort of thin for spikes but are long and very sharp. Coming off the top of his head in the middle of the two sets of horns are flat and don't jut out very far, more there to protect his skull then anything. He has whiskers on his snout with one on each side of his lower jaw. His body is perfectly sculpted with a slim but strong frame more common with his species then a short stubby body with huge muscles. A webbed like spine goes to about where his neck meets his shoulders and stops leaving his back smooth. His wing muscles are quite thick and strong from years of flying and traveling everywhere his body could go. The thick membrane in his wings is a bit lighter than his bright golden body and seems to connect onto his tail and continues on to the tip, making him an excellent flier and graceful looking in the skies. To top it all off he has a dragonfly necklace on and a red bracelet on his right ankle. Personality: Adonis is a very noble and wise dragon, seeing as though he has seen many things in his life. His nature is fairly kind and gentle for a big brute like him and doesn't like the idea of taking anyone's life, even his food who he prays for before he eats. His respect for nature and the World's inhabitants is great, acting more like an Earth Dragon which are very nature loving creatures. He uses his strength for the good of his loved ones, friends, and the good of the world. His views on humans are positive but then he knows that not all of them respect his kind. He cares about them and even shows pity for them but can be shy around a lot of humans at once. Adonis loves all creatures and has immense respect for all of them, especially Unicorns and Elves. His mellow personality and loving attitude are perfect for a father which he hopes to be someday soon. History: Adonis was born in the lands of Inferno Valley when it was being ruled by the dragoness Luna. The lands were so peaceful back then when every dragon got along and there was no fighting. He was brought up to love everyone and everything no matter their looks or ways of life, even the Humans that visited the valley. Elves lived in the forests in small villages and lived beside the Dragons in harmony. Creatures like Wolves and Unicorns lived in the same forests about the valley, the balance was set to perfect and it seemed nothing could go wrong. When Adonis turned 10 he had already learned how to fly quite well and was beginning to breath fire. His body was already bulking up and he became quite the looker, the dragonesses seemed to notice but he has never had a mate to this day, never falling for a female yet. His abilities were perfect for the fighting dragon but he never fought unless he had to, to defend or to keep himself safe from harm. He has only killed a few dragons in his life and that was during the War that the survivors called the 100 Year War or the 'Time of Despair.' Adonis had fought in this war and managed to stay alive. The War started when the Alpha of the Magma Gorge awoke from his slumber that fateful day. He was thirsty for blood and more power leading him to invade the lands below of Inferno Valley, His son Shadow was the nicer one of the family and caught the eye of the Alphess of Inferno, Luna. They had fell in love with one another and this just set his father off and made him even more angry. That very nice he invaded the land with a troop of about 200 dragons of several key species, Shadow, Magma Shadow, Night, and Dark Dragons. Luna was quick to act and now Shadow was forced to fight his father and the ones he once called his family. The battle lasted 100 Years, about a total of over 1,000 dragons were lost or had fled the lands. The Magma Gorge clan lost about 3/4s of their clan dragons and the life of their Alpha was also taken by his own son, Shadow. He had done it to protect his family and Luna from his grasp and saved her from certain doom. His love stretched over many centuries as he protected the lands for many years to come, with Luna at his side. Adonis had slayed 50 Dragons in that war and hated every minute of it but he had to protect his home and family. His mother was killed unfortunately and his father died a few years later from disease. Adonis left the Valley when peace was restored to find his own lands and to find a family of his own. The Necklace around his neck was given to him by his Mother before she died, she had worn it most of her life and gave it to him the second before her death. The bracelet around his right front ankle was given to him by Luna for his bravery and for saving her own Mother from the Magma gorge Dragons during the War and for risking his life to save and protect everyone.
