(I'll have Silvera join when she gets back, since right now there really wouldn't be anything for her to do here, and I'm not going to try to play her.)

Eighteen years... the sapphire dragoness thought to herself. The morning dew and mists resting on her scales. She had slept out here all night, and the cool relaxing air in anticipation for today. Truth be told she was scared. She wasn't sure what to expect. There were some many good things that she was looking forward to that could happen, but she was scared because there were just as many bad things that could happen as well. What if Silvera snapped at her, tried to hurt her? She couldn't fight back, she'd be fighting her own sister!

Eighteen years and a three and a half hour flight. That's how long it's been sister, and this whole time that's all that's separated us, She thought to herself. IF I would have known you were this close to me the whole time I would have come home sooner. I have missed you so much my sister, and I know that you will be surprised to find out that I am still alive. I know that's why you never came back for me. I know that you thought that I was dead, and that we both were young and couldn't do much. At the same time though, I'm glad you didn't come back... He would have killed you too, as he was going to kill me... I only hope that we can be like we once were, she told herself again, tears forming in her eyes. I've missed you so much!

Akornia laid her head down as she waited for Tarin. She was going down to meet Silvera today, and she was bringing her with her. A sniff came from her nostrils as she looked back up for her, waiting. The were to leave at sunup and it was already close to that time. Where is she? I don't want to wait any longer! she thought as she scanned the skies for Tarin.

Tarin paused on the edge of her den, taking one last look at her sleeping mate. A smile lit her features. Schyz always looked so peaceful hen he slept. Unfurling her wings, Tarin turned her attention to flying. She leaped off the small ledge and let her flapping wings catch her. She angled upwards, flying up through the volcano opening and towards the valley.

The sun hadn't yet risen, but the sky was getting noticeably lighter. A few clouds puffed their way across the span of deep blue above. The moon still hung, but it would disappear shortly after the sun rose. Tarin knew she was late and tried to pull herself faster through the sky. The wind was beginning to pick up, luckily not enough to interfere with the long flight Akornia and her would begin soon. Tarin let herself glide, knowing that she would need most of her energy later. At least they wouldn't have to worry about the weather.

It wasn't long before Tarin spotted Akornia lying in the long grasses. The cerulean dragoness started descending, preparing for landing. Her paws hit the ground only a few feet from Akornia, her claws dragging some of the grass up by accident. Tarin smiled at her friend, knowing she must be somewhat nervous. Are you ready? The clouds to the east were now tinged with purples and pinks as the sun began peeking over the horizon.

When the morning dews were at their fullest, and the light of the rising sun becoming even brighter, Akornia was becoming even more worried. Tarin was never late like this. She never has been on that was late to things. Where is she!? she yelled in her mind. There really wasn't anything else she could really do other than just leave early, but she couldn't do that to Tarin. Her and the old alphess both had helped her so much, and that would be a horrible way to leave the clan.

She she turned and saw the sun starting to peek around the mountains, she started to get a little more worried. At that moment though, she found Tarin heading her way. Finally, she said to herself. She watched as the dragoness slowed and descended towards her. She ended up landing only a few feet from her trailing a bit of grass as she landed. When she asked if she was ready Akornia nodded.

I've been ready for a while. I just... I can't but wonder what she's like now, or if she has changed at all. I mean it's been eighteen years since we've seen each other and she probably still thinks I'm dead. I don't want to scare her, she told Tarin. No matter how you looked at it though, Silvera was still her sister, and nothing could change that. She lifted her wings from her side and stepped enough away from her enough to where she could extend them so she could take off. I'm ready whenever you are. I'll try not to go too fast for you. she told her teasingly.

Tarin smiled when Akornia nodded. Akornia said she wondered what Sil was like now, and she wondered if she had changed at all. It'd been 18 years since they last saw each other and Sil probably still thought she was dead. She didn't ant to scare her. Tarin shook her head. Something tells me she'll try to hold you so tight, she might not ever let go. Just think about it this way, if the situation were reversed, you'd be more overjoyed than anything else, right? She'll be the same way. Tarin gave Akornia another smile.

Akoria moved away so she could spread her wings and Tarin mirrored the movement. Better safe than sorry, she thought to herself. She was unfurling her wings when Akornia said she was ready whenever Tarin was, and that she would try to not go too fast for her. Very funny, but I'm sure you remember this isn't a race flight. She knows to save her energy, Tarin thought. I don't need to remind her, Just gotta remember it myself. Tarin spread her wings wide and looked at Akornia. Another smile showed on Tarin's face. Let's go. It's time for you to meet your sister again.

Tarin began running, then jumped into the air, her wings spreading wide and catching her like sails. She circled in the air once to be sure Akornia was following before angling to the west, the direction of the Juthivarian Plains.

The words of her alphess once again proved to be words of wisdom. She listened as she told her that something told her that she would try to hold her so tight that she wouldn't let her go. The more she though about that sentence, the more she wanted it to be true. Ever since she found out that she was still alive, her sister was all that Akornia could think of, and Tarin's next words showed Akornia her wisdom, and the main reason why she was the Alphess of this clan. She told her that if the situations where reversed that she would be overjoyed over anything else, and she had to admit it was true. She was overjoyed enough right now as it was though. She herself didn't think her sister was still in these lands until she heard it from a clan mate a week or two ago.

When she told her that this flight wasn't a race, Akornia just nodded. I know, I'm just anxious to get there. I want to see how big she's gotten and how everything has worked out for her. she told her a bit of happiness glittering in her voice. When she told her that they could go, and that it was time for her to meet her sister again, she wasted no time following her up onto the sky. With a quick stroke of her massive wings, she pushed herself into the air leaving deep impressions in the ground from the talons on her hind legs.

Once she was up in the air she took a moment to look around. There were so many familiar places and regions here that she may not get to see again for a long time. Most of her was happy, but a part of her was sad. She had made so many wonderful friends here in the clan that a part of her felt bad for leaving them, but, this was her sister. She couldn't just let her continue living thinking that she was dead. Besides, it wasn't like she couldn't ever come back whenever she wanted. Well, At least she though but decided to make sure, Tarin, Once I do go there, I'll... I'll be allowed to come back to visit you and the rest of my friends right? she asked seeming a bit worried about her answer.

Tarin watched Akornia spring from the ground, getting up in the air quickly. They were soaring high above the landscape now. The land was still quiet, most of the clan still asleep, yet Tarin could faintly pick out the songs of the awakening birds down in the valley. The mountain peaks were beginning to glow in the colors of the rising sun. Tarin found herself smiling at the sight. They had a way of sinking deep into your bones, and they had seen so many generations of the clan. She had thought that the mountains had been the first true Alphas of Furick since the first time she had seen them.

Akornia's question if she could come visit surprised Tarin. Of Course you can! Why wouldn't you be allowed to visit? This land, these mountains, will always be part of you, no matter where you are, and this clan will always be a second family for you. And if something keeps you from visiting us, we'll just come and visit you. Tarin smiled reassuringly at Akornia. And even if you pretend to not know us, we'll still visit! she finished, laughing slightly.

Akornia still held a bit of worry in her when she was waiting for Tarin's reply, but when it came she was relieved. When Tarin told her that these lands were just as much a part of her as they ones she was going to, and that this clan would always be a second family for her, she smiled. Thank you Tarin. You have no idea how much that means to me. I know that I'll make new friends there, but, nothing could replace all my friends here. I will definitely be back to visit all of you. she told her moving up to her side.

Knowing now that she could return at anytime was a huge weight that had been lifted from her. She loved her sister dearly but she still wasn't sure what her sister was like anymore. The only thing that she knew now though, was that the only thing she wanted to do right now was be held in her sisters wings. It felt almost timeless as they flew. When she looked to the east though back behind them, she could see that the sun was higher, and the mountains that were beneath them had turned to hills. Now she was getting excited. The eighteen year gap was getting closer and closer to ending. When we get there Tarin, I'm going to find a treeline and stand behind it, then when Silvera arrives I want you to call me out. I want to see if she recognizes me so don't use my name. she told her. She wanted to know if her sister still even remembered her from when they were young.

Tarin returned Akornia's smile when she moved ahead to fly next to her. She listened as Akornia said that she had no idea how much that meant to her, and even though she new she'd make new friends there, nothing could replace the friends she had made here. When she would definitely be back to visit them all, Tarin smiled again.

She noticed Akornia look back behind them and Tarin did the same. The mountains had become foothills without either of them noticing. Tarin turned back to the sky in front of her as Akornia began talking once more. She said that when they got to Juthivar, she would find a treeline to hide behind, and when Sil arrived, she wanted Tarin to call her out. She said not to use her name, since she wanted to see if Sil recognized her. Tarin nodded and smiled at Akornia. I can do that.

The flight had gone by rather quickly. Already the hills had flattened into plains and patches of forest. Tarin knew that soon the Lake of Suron would come into sight. The plan had been to land there, since they knew that Sil would probably be there, and even if she wasn't, they didn't want the surprise to be ruined because a Scout saw her and Akornia flying. I'll bet you're really excited to see Sil again, huh?

Now Tarin could vaguely make out the shape of the lake and the surrounding woods on the horizon. She smiled at Akornia. Nearly there! She began angling downwards, knowing that they'd be landing within minutes.

The weather was cool and clear, and everything was running smoothly in the clan. It had been a week since she had been raped by that bull, but she didn't care about that anymore. It wasn't the first time that she had been raped, and it didn't even last that long. No what she remembered most about that day, was the fact that she had asked and accepted Adonis into the position of alpha by having him mate her right there and then. That was the focal point of the entire day, and hell the last few months for that matter. It meant that she didn't have to resign, and that everyone in the clan would still have her as her alphess.

She wasn't being selfish about it, but she knew that she loved this clan. She loved every bit of it, and the thing that scared her the most was someone else stepping into the position and ruining all the trust and loved that she had built up in the clan. She shook her head. There was no need to worry about that right now though. With everything like it was now, it was foolish to do so.

She found herself over the lake before she even knew it, and hadn't realized that she had been flying there all morning. Well, I suppose a brief swim won't hurt anything, she thought to herself diving down into the waters of the lake. Making her way back up. she could feel the pockets of air also moving their way back up to the surface. She looked around and spotted some figures in the air off in the distance, but she didn't pay attention to it. That bull was a fool to come back here if it was him knowing she'd be expecting revenge. So she decided to wait and see what was going to develop as she just closed her eyes and floated on her back through the water on the surface.

Akornia was anxious now. She had heard Tarin tell her that they were getting close, and that she had already agreed to letting Silvera guess who she was. This was going to be so exciting for her, and she could only hope her sister would be as excited to see her as she was.

the winds started to die down a bit and the weather was getting cooler actually, than she would have thought, but maybe that was a good thing. After all, no one liked really humid days, which was a reason she fell in love with the mountains. It was never humid there, always crisp and cool. She wondered how much different the weather in Juthivar was. She could already tell by the vegetation that it was a lot different, but hoped it wasn't too much so.

It was only a few more minutes though as they started approaching the lake, and it was then that Akornia noticed something swimming in it. When she saw the coloration and the icy-blue wings of the dragoness, she instantly knew who it was. That was the one thing that she could always identify her sister with was her wings. There she is! That's her! she said gleefully. This was about to be the best moment of her life. She dove down heading for the treeline. I'm going to hid now, right there behind the treeline. I'm going straight there as you are so I'll be able to see you. she told her as she disappeared into the trees moving carefully and landing a bit away so she could sneak up to the edge of the line.

One she had made it to a somewhat covered spot, she looked out through the trees. Her sister was much larger now and even more dazzling than before. Her wings, her scales everything looked perfectly formed. She could only wonder how badly she mauled Kuron for what he had done to both of them. Mac'car had to have been killed as well, as there was a undefined hate for both of them. She waited here though for Tarin to land and introduce herself. She could only hope that she wouldn't take to long to introduce her. She really wanted to see her sisters face when she found out she was not only alive, but here.

Tarin smiled at the ease with which Akornia recognized her sister. Hopefully it would be the same for Sil. Akornia dove down towards the trees, saying that she'd be going straight to the treeline, so she'd get there as Tarin did. Will do. Tarin continued in a straight line to the shore, flying close enough to the tree tops that if she stuck her paw straight down, she'd brush the tips of the upper branches.

She angled down for a landing on the sand of the shore. Her paws sank down into the loose grains. Tarin folded her wings to her body before wading to her shoulders into the water. Sil was floating on her back, and Tarin figured that Akornia would've made it to the treeline by now. Good Morning Silvera! Tarin called out to the silver dragoness. Akornia was probably more than ready to go, but Tarin didn't want to spring the surprise just yet.

It was still nice and cool even with the sun starting it's rise into the morning sky. The waters of the lake itself were still quite cool, and Silvera loved every minute of being here. Maybe she would take a break from today and just relax, maybe go home later and bring the young out for a swim today, and just spend some time with them. That's what she felt like doing anyway. The two figures though that she had seen held in her mind though as much as she didn't want them to. With what just happened to her, she was still somewhat wary of her surroundings even in her own clan now.

Why do all these things happen to me? My parents where killed when my sister and I were still just hatchlings, then that pathetic excuse for a bull Kuron killed Akornia in front of me. After I finally come back and retake the clan, I find a mate, only to get raped a few months after. Then Zircon gets killed, and then to top it all off, I get raped once again and not to mention that damn Jorthian. Something has to change soon... she thought to herself.

Her entire train of thought was shattered though when she heard someone, a female yell out her name. She lifted her head slowly to look ashore to see who it was a very vibrant blue in color, almost a turquoise in color. She had never seen the dragoness before and wondered how she knew her name already. With that in mind, she pushed herself under the waves long enough to right herself and then angled towards the shore.

The scent in the air was heavy of the mountains. This dragon was obviously from the Furick range, but it also smelled like there was more than one dragon in the area, but she could only see one. Maybe it was her mind playing tricks on her, but she remembered seeing two figures in the air as well. She shook her head and surfaced from beneath the waves. Her body gently glided thought wthe water's surface until she reached the embankment, looking the other dragoness in the eyes.

I do apologize, she started. You seem to have heard and known my name, but I'm afraid I do not know yours seeing as I don't remember ever meeting you. We may have in the past, but so much has happened recently I'm not sure what to think right now. she spoke to the dragoness still quite sure there was more than one dragon here.

Laying as still as perfectly possible, Akornia just watched everything unfold. She wasn't sure of anything right now, and it took everything to hold herself back. The one thing that she couldn't hold back though were her tears. She had been hoping for this day for so long that she just couldn't hold anything it. It was a quite cry, but she was crying never the less. When Tarin told her hello, she felt a shiver run through her spine. She knew that even if she wanted to second guess herself now, there wasn't anything she could do to go back with. It would ruin her Alphess's image, and it would ruin her relations with the rest of the clan at home.

She continued to look on as everything played it's course. She watched her sister look back at Tarin and then sink beneath the surface. When she resurfaced, she was a lot closer to the shore than before and she looked like she was sniffing around. Could she smell her? That would certainly ruin the surprise. When she spoke though she mentioned nothing of it. She just merely mentioned that she was caught at a disadvantage by not knowing Tarin's name. That she never remembered meeting her and the like. She couldn't wait for the introduction now, she wanted to get out there and let her sister know that she was here, that she had never lost her. She wished things would move faster.

Tarin noticed Silvera slide underwater for a minute, presumably to turn around before swimming closer to the shore. She looked Tarin in the eye before apologizing for not knowing Tarin's name, or remembering meeting her before. Tarin quickly shook her own head. No, no, please, don't apologize. It's my fault for not coming to meet you sooner. Tarin bowed her head slightly in respect before meeting Silvera's eyes again.

I'm Tarianna, Alphess of Furick, it's a pleasure to meet you. I've heard many good things about you, especially from a special friend. Tarin looked over her shoulder at the trees where she figured Akornia would be and smiled. She turned back to Sil. Speaking of which, she's been looking forward to meeting you for quite some time. Tarin took a few steps out of the way, just in case.

Silvera came to a stop just off shore from the lake as she waited for the blue dragoness on the bank. Once she stopped and mentioned that she had been caught at a disadvantage, the dragoness just shook her head. She told her that it was quite alright, that it was her fault for not coming. Silvera started to say something in response to that but before she did, the dragoness introduced herself as Tarianna. The Alphess of the Furick clan.

When Silvera heard her mention that she was an Alphess, she quickly nodded in respect for her. In that case Tarianna, I bid you welcome to the lands of Juthivar. As you can see, our lands are a bit different from the mountains, but I think they're beautiful none-the-less. At least until the summer gets here. Then it's very humid, but the lake is always a good place to cool down. she told her motioning to the lake behind her.

Silvera listened though as she heard Tarianna tell her that she had heard a lot about her from a friend of hers that was in the Furick Clan. Silvera thought long and hard, and noticed that the dragoness looked back towards the treeline. That confirmed her suspicions. There absolutely had to be a second dragon here, and it made everything seem a bit shaky all of a sudden. When Tarianna mentioned that this friend had been looking forward to meeting her for quite some time now, she grew even more wary about the dragoness. Was this some kind of sick joke?

Her mind was erased when she saw the second blue dragoness emerge from the trees. There was something very similar about the dragoness, but Silvera couldn't figure out why she looked familiar or why she was being pulled to her like she was. A gust of wind blew her way from the dragones, and she was able to pick up the scent. When she picked up the scent, something in her clicked.

She shook her head, but the scent was still there. She was certain her mind was playing tricks on her. No, this isn't possible. She's dead! I watched her die! Silvera thought to herself. When she heard her speak, there was no denying it. She looked up to the blue dragoness and realize, that her sister was very much still alive, and was now standing right in front of her.

Akornia waited behind the trees for a few more moments while she waited for Tarin to make the introduction. When she told Silvera that she didn't have any need to apologize for anything, she became antsy. Come on, hurry up and make the introduction. I don't want to hide behind here forever! she thought to herself.

Time was moving as slow as it ever could. Each passing moment felt like an eternity. She listened to Silvera return the introduction that Tarin had made of herself, but everything else was left aside. She was about ready to just explode out there herself regardless of any surprise or not. Patience was definitely not her strongest point, and she was definitely getting worn thin.

Finally after what felt like forever, Tarin started the introduction. Telling Silvera that she had heard a lot about her from a special friend of hers, and a friend who had been looking very forward to meeting her. that was a good enough introduction for her and she started to pull out from the trees.

The look on Silvera's face when she walked out from the trees was one of confusion, and denial. The look that she was expecting to see. She watched as she shook her head trying to get the thought out of her mind, but then felt a gust of wind blow her way before she herself spoke. It's been a long time, she started. Do you even remember who I am? she asked hoping that she would.

(....and cue the super late and short fail of a post)

Tarin saw the other Alphess nod. She bid her welcome to the lands of Juthivar, saying that, as she could see, they were very different than the mountains. The were beautiful, but humid when summer arrived, though the lake was always a good place to cool down. She seemed very levelheaded and collected. When Akornia stepped out of the trees though, Tarin could see confusion creep into the mix. A gust of wind blew through, making ripples on the surface of the water and carrying Akornia's scent to Sil. The change in Sil's facial expression was from confusion, to denial, to finally something like shock and disbelief. Akornia spoke then, her voice soft, but still audible. She asked Sil if she still remembered who she was.

Tarin let her eyes flick back and forth between Akornia and Silvera, watching to see what they would do. Temptation to prove Silvera's suspicion crept into her mind, but Tarin erased it. No, she scolded herself, unless Silvera heard it from Akornia herself, it would do nothing but make her more wary. It didn't help that Tarin hadn't gone to meet Silvera sooner, and so Tarin remained silent. She wondered if they would embrace each other, or if Sil would even believe it. Only one way to find out.
