At the edge of the large leg in the forest Jaruk was walking down looking out to it. He day dreamed about it, dreamed about many fireflies dancing at the top of it and fish leaping out when it was a dark and clear night with a full beautiful moon. Jaruk blinked, snapped out of it and sighed. He continued to walk down the path toward the beach. He passed through some bushes that had berries. The silver dragon stopped, sniffed them, they were raspberries, he opened his long muzzle, his whiskers tickling the branches of the bushes. With his tongue he grabbed some of the berries, circling it around them than tugging them off of the bushes. He retreated his head and started biting the berries, trying to get their juices before he swallows them. They were sweet and sour at the edges, they tasted ready just as they looked. Jaruk sniffed them, looking for the best berries that were soft but not too soft to be bruised and already losing their juices. He needs them to be bright red not yellow or white showing that they already failing or not ready to be eaten. Jaruk found about ten pretty looking rasp berries on one branch. Carefully, without disturbing the berries on the branch he dug his muzzle to the end of the branch and bit it off. With the branch in his maw he walked down the path again to where he came to the beach of it with grassy fields and large rocks. Jaruk walked silently to the rocks and carefully he set down the branch. He retreated from it and raised his muzzle as he sniffed the air. He took in many scents, the scents of the trees, the grass, the earth, the cloudy sky that made the air so humid that he bet it would rain any time today. There were also rabbit scents. He opened his emerald lime green eyes and figured where the rabbits were. Jaruk walked silently to the fields, coming in view with a rabbit eating at the grass. He narrowed his eyes and was about to try and get closer to it when the wind changed, now he was upwind where the rabbit could smell him. Jaruk growled in frustration and pounced on the rabbit. It was too fast though, it leaped out of the way and ran for cover. Jaruk reacted quickly and flapped his wings using his wind element to make him go faster. He lunged and caught the rabbit just before it got into its hole and killed it quickly. With it in his muzzle he padded back down to the beach where his berries were. |

It had been a week or so since the fight had riddled them very disheartened. He could still remember seeing his Alphess's body in the maw of that creatures, and the blood that was pouring from her body. He was out hunting for her now, as she still could not fly from her wounds. That beast had done a lot of damage to her with that poison biting her in the neck like that. He had rid her of the poison, but it had done enough damage to her nervous system that it was going to be difficult for her for a couple of days. the healing magic in her blood already should help her with that. She herself was and amazing healer and he knew that her body would take over and start healing itself as it needed to. He was out a lot longer today though than normal. He wanted to make absolutely sure that the beast was gone and that it just didn't fly away wounded after they left. He had seen no sighs of it anywhere, but what he saw in the plains was disturbing. With the way the legend had been told to them was that the volcanoes were supposed to die when the Jorthians did. The volcano was still alive. that meant that it did still have to be alive, or that another one had shown up to take it's place. There was a ring of fire surrounding the volcano. The base of it no longer accessible from the ground as a river of molten rock surrounded it. he went though it by air and investigated but the Jorthian was not there. that was a relief to him to know at least that the one from that volcano didn't die. What disturbed him though, was the fact that the ring had a branch in it, and it was starting to extend south. He looked and it was in the exact direction as the clan. He needed some time to think. He took off and headed for the lake. He may have been a fire dragon element, but this was ridiculous. The temperature there would have made anyone else uncomfortable just being around the volcano, let along going into the damn thing. When he got to the lake, he noticed a silver dragon on the bank. Impossible, that can't be her! She's too hurt to even move right now! he thought to himself. As he got closer, he caught the scent of the dragon letting him know that it was male. So it was definitely not her. He decided to see if he had heard anything about the ring and why it might have been expanding south. First thing he needed to do though was get rid of what felt like a layer of fire around him diving into the lake. When he entered the lake, he felt the coolness of the lake waters take care of the intense heat that was around him. Steam rose from where he had entered the lake as they subsided him. As soon as he felt cool enough again, he surfaced and went into the direction of the other bull. he stopped well off shore waiting for him to make the first move. If he was hostile, he would have an escape route. He was much larger than he would and would have a definite advantage in a fight at least physically, and he had no idea what his magic was like. With the way he looked, he could tell this dragon was easily more than double his size. there was no way he could fight it if he was aggressive. |

With the rabbit in his mouth he made it back to the beach to where the berries were. They were still lying there on the rocks. He set the dead hare down and licked his muzzle of the blood that stained it. Jaruk said prayer to the dead hare, and used his claws to tear open its carcass. He push it open and took the stems off the rasp berries and started putting them inside the body. He know, its weird but he likes it and that's all what matters to him. His stomach growled, he couldn't wait to start eating. Jaruk thought if he ever did this before... before he lost his memories, if he liked eating his food with some fruit inside it. He doesn't know, he doesn't know if all he felt was the same feelings he had before he lost his memories. It would be so damn easier if he just knew what happened to him. He either has to keep looking for answers or give up and join a Clan. Jaruk heard that there are four Clans and he figured that maybe he had been in a Clan, maybe being around dragons he would gain his memories back, maybe even find a clue to unlocking them. It was a long shot he knew that, but if he doesn't he might never find the answers he seeks. Either way, its better to be around others. Jaruk was almost done when he heard something coming. He looked up and found a black and golden dragon dive in the lake. Steam rose up like great heat was just dimmed by cold water. He blinked and wondered where such a hot place the dragon had been to. Maybe the volcanoes? That's crazy! He heard many stories that demons live there, called Jorth... something. He pricked his ears as the dragon was swimming over to him. Jaruk felt uneasy about this. The last time he had been around dragons they all thought he was a freak. He narrowed his emerald lime green eyes, the nervousness showing on his face a little. The black dragon got out of the water, the wind blew, blowing his over his face and dangling in the air. He kept an eye on the dragon and got the hint that he wasn't hostile and was waiting for him to make the first move. Who knows the dragon must have thought he was hostile. Well Jaruk is bigger than him, but size isn't everything. He padded over to the black golden male and nodded his head to him in a respectful kind way. Hello, he growled in a nervous kind tone. Jaruk looked up and thought about what he should say but couldn't really come up with anything. He still doesn't know how to really address others properly, doesn't know a lot about his kind only about they are large, many breeds, has multiple magic elements and they normally live in Clans. How to address them or what ranks they have and all that is zero knowledge. In these kind of situations he really wished that he had all his memories back so he would know how to address a dragon properly, he doesn't even know if he's doing this right. |

Nia Gara was walking along the beach, her mind in a heavy fog. Thinking of how the water looked in the light at the moment had made her mind go blank. She was walking for what had seemed like forever. She clearly didn't know that she'd get transfixed with the water, something she normally didn't do, but it was better than spending her time thinking of the past. Something like that had never made her nerves go smooth, but it wasn't exactly something that she would easily forget. The way her family had looked as she saw them, dead, raw, covered in blood, had haunted her in her dreams for years on end, and it would never let her forget it, either. Each and every night, she could hear her mother's words, her father's shouts. What made things worse was that she would always wake alone from the screaming and whispers. It made her heart fall, knowing she'd never have a mate. But that was a different matter to why she woke, crying and sweaty. Nia Gara had been captured in her past for so long, she had to nearly slap herself with her paw to have noticed the small the wind was carrying. She lifted her head, fear washing over her in an instant. Two males, both rather close to each other, which was unnormal for what Nai has noticed while she was living here. She walked up the beach a little more, following where the smell of the males were coming from, when she finally spotted two. One was smaller than the other, black and gold color. He didn't seem like a fighter, much. But he also didn't seem like the kind to let things slide easily. She couldn't tell if that were steam rising off of him, or if her eyes were making her see things. She had no idea if there were anything that hot around here, seeing as that she never wondered the area, searching for anything she should look out for. But the other dragon was the one that had caught her attention. He was a beautiful silver, his legs then, but yet still fit. His feathery wings made her skin turn hot, seeing that he was as beautiful as any other dragon or dragoness she's ever seen. He was the first dragon she's seen with fur. She was mostly captured by the male dragon's eyes. They were a green color, one she's never seen before. Now, motionless from the dragon's appearance, she didn't know if she wanted to have them know she was there or not. If she stayed any longer, they'd know anyway. |

There was still steam rising up from the spot where Zil'caron had entered the lake, and he knew that it must have made any other creature around him wary. It was more than obvious from his size that he wasn't one of those monsters, but still, that much steam coming from one dragon of just his size was had to be suspicious. He watched carefully as the dragon on the shore started moving towards him noticing the green eyes. Zil'caron held his ground but was wary of the dragon. He still wasn't sure if it was hostile or not, and was hesitant himself. With each step he watched as he got nearer and neared. Slowly the water started rippling around his paws and sloshing around as he continued moving forward towards him. he was about to take a step backwards when he heard the dragon address him, merely stating hello. A simple statement like that could be taken either one of two ways. The first was that the dragon was just as unsure about Zil'caron as he was the other, and the second was that it could be a precursor to an attack. With that in mind, Zil'caron still was hesitant and wary. As soon as he started to say something though, he caught movement out of the corner of his right eye. When he turned up to look to see what she what it was, it was another black dragon. He tried to pick up a scent from it, but the winds were moving in the wrong direction, though it looked feminine, and he presumed that it was a female. He turned back to the dragon in front of him even more uneasy. Was this dragoness his mate? Had he intruded on something without meaning to? So many things could possibly go wrong here. Greetings in return. he nodded respectfully as to not to appear rude at least. Was I interrupting something between you in the female. I wasn't intending to and can leave if you had other plans. he asked the dragon presuming that was the case. That's what it looked like to him anyway. It could just be that they were all three here by random chance, but that didn't just feel like a right explanation. Something else had to be going on, but what? |

He could see the dragon was nervous. He wondered why? Did his size really bothered him? Or was he just judging him the wrong way? It's a definite then but Jaruk didn't take that seriously though. Instead he waited for the dragon to reply back to him. Something though moved in the trees and he found what looked like a female dragon hiding in the bushes. Jaruk smiled, and was about to walk over to the female and tell her it was ok, that she doesn't have to hide. He assumed she was hiding from him. Well he does look a little awkward doesn't he? Yet the other male finally made his reply. "Greetings in return," Jaruk looked up at the sky and wondered if that was speaking like a gentleman or not. He wondered what a gentleman was. All he knew that it was a male being nice to females. He spoke friendly, his words were polite, if he knew what that really meant. Yet, he couldn't and shouldn't judge this dragon by its cover. He knew that for sure and felt it in his heart that he cannot judge base on appearances... Or at least try not to. The male started speaking again, pointing to where the female was hiding. "Was I interrupting something between you in the female. I wasn't intending to and can leave if you had other plans." Huh? Jaruk blinked, wide eyed and looked back at where he thought the fem would still be or not. He gaped a little and his eyes were a little wide with surprise. No, no, your not intruding! Jaruk tried to explain, but instead of acting calm about it or any of that he sort of overeacted to that. You can't blame him, he forgot everything, about his family, what he was, even manners and all that. The only reason he wasn't blubbering like an idiot is because his language is so memorized and pounded in his brain that there is no way he could forget his own language. Just like he can walk, fly and run and hunt, its all tacked in his instincts and all that... easy to access. Yet, not knowing what a gentleman is or what polite means and all that is all clueless to him. Jaruk felt like a big idiot and he calmed down and took a deep breath then let it out. I'm sorry, I still have a lot to work out... but no I don't know who she is. He turned around without thinking and walked up to the female slowly and gently. Close to the trees he moved his head to the side and stopped a few feet away from where he thought the female was. His brilliant green eyes looked at the bushes with such gentleness that its so unreal that a big dragon as him could be so gentle. He can actually be as soft as a feather... sometimes. Make him mad and he's like a raging phoenix, make him annoyed which is really easy to in some circumstances... well you could get to that later. On the giving hand right now was to try and NOT scare the female away. He always wonders why females run away from him. Hello? His voice was as soft as the summer breeze. It's ok, you can come out, we won't hurt you. |

Nia Gara watched as the black and gold dragon talked to the silver one. She didn't know what they were talking about, and she didn't know if the knew each other. She watched as she saw the black dragon look at her, then address the silver dragon. Apparently, whatever he had said had shocked him. Enough to turn and look at her. Nia could feel the scales on her face get hot as he looked at her. For once, she was glad her scales were black. She's never felt this way about a dragon in her years, seeing that she was always picked on. Once the silver dragon looked at her, all of those feelings of fear had vanished. When he started to walk towards her, she felt a feeling in her stomach. She didn't know if he was planning to talk to her or to hurt her or... worse. Two male dragons, one larger than the other, but still both of them bigger, and stronger, then her? She was deadly scared. Her mind was telling her to take a step back, turn or something, but she couldn't move. She was glued to the ground. He called out a hello, his voice as smooth as the water in the lake, cooling her feelings down, but heating her face more. She didn't know what was going to happen. She hated being this way, parinoid when a new dragon talked to her. She always scaring them away when she met them. When he said it was alright to come out, and that they wouldn't hurt her, she took a small step forward. "U-um... hello.. I'm Nia Gara. I'm so sorry to interrupt your conversation with your friend. I didn't mean to..." Nia Gara said, bowing her head, talking in her small voice, scared. |

The waters rippled around them while Zil'caron waited for a reply from the male. If he and the female had other plans, then he would simply just leave the area. It wasn't his place to intrude on anything like that, but the male quickly made it apparent that it was not the case. He told him that he didn't eve know the female. As soon as Zil'caron started to say something though, the dragon in front of him turned around and started towards the female. What was he thinking? If he didn't know this female, approaching her would make her fell very uncomfortable and insecure. He started to follow to try and stop him and to tell him to let her come to them, but he decided that two bulls approaching her would make her even more uneasy, and he had no intentions of making anyone upset today. He did listen in though as the male started talking to her. Telling her that it was okay, and that she could come out. that they wouldn't hurt him. Zil'caron knew that he wasn't going to hurt her, but he wasn't sure about the other dragon. He could be trying pull her in for something, but his better judgment told him otherwise. His suspicions about her though were confirmed when she spoke. Her tone sounded very frightened, and she seemed uneasy. That's quite alright my lady, I had just gotten here myself. I had been exploring the old Volcano. I was making sure the beast that lived there was actually dead, and not just hiding in the magma. that is why there was so much steam when I hit the water. I was literally swimming in Magma before I made it here. He told the dragoness before realizing that telling her how strong he was in the fire element may not have been a good thing, at least to not calm her down. He sighed and waited to see what else would happen. |

Jaruk could feel that he had made a mistake. He could see it in the male dragon's eyes and at once Jaruk felt out of place and shameful. U-um... hello.. I'm Nia Gara. I'm so sorry to interrupt your conversation with your friend. I didn't mean to... He stared at her frightened gaze and felt bad. Of course he would be scared if a huge male dragon walks over to you. He thought... no he didn't think he just assumed that if he talked to her nicely and showed he wasn't going to hurt her that she wouldn't be scared. Jaruk wondered if he was always this dumb. Maybe, maybe not but he does know that he must have been bold and brave. He has some scars that he doesn't remember there before. He knew he must have been bold because sometimes his emotions just don't reach the surface of his face like now. There was pain in his eyes but little guilt that showed on his face yet his muscles a tiny bit tense that would told anyone that he realized his mistake. The pain was not for what he did but for what the female looked at him, frightened. The other male was suspicious of him still. It's what every dragon looks at him like, the females terrified of him and males protective and cautious toward him. Every time he sees these looks it made him wonder if he would find anyone that wasn't afraid of him or judge him the wrong way. He wondered what kind of dragon he was back then, was he kind and loving to the world like he is now, or was he brutal and cruel to everything and everyone he comes near to. That's quite alright my lady, I had just gotten here myself. I had been exploring the old Volcano. I was making sure the beast that lived there was actually dead, and not just hiding in the magma. that is why there was so much steam when I hit the water. I was literally swimming in Magma before I made it here. Jaruk almost missed the male's words that had turned to sooth the frightened female. He retreated a few steps, worried that he might scare the female even more. His ears perked up when he tapped what the male was saying. Jaruk gazed at the male, at least he wasn't the only one that made a stupid mistake. That made him feel better at least though felt more worried that the female was going to run away from them. I didn't know dragons with fire element could do that. He said baffled at the male dragon. Jaruk thought that he had in deed seen this male before, yet he doesn't fully remember where. It must have been real short and far away that he didn't really remember or have a good look at him till now. Actually I still don't know much of my kind...He trailed off, embarrassed. You males are so stupid sometimes. He blinked and turned to where the voice was coming from. To the rocks on the shore was a cream brown female. In the forest through a pathway a beautiful sceather dragon was walking toward the lake. Two wyrmlings were with her. Kiki, her daughter and Nita a dragoness she had adopted close to the time Kiki hatched. To the shore the Kitakyushu turned to drink, she waved her feather tip tail to the two that they could do the same. They walked to the shore and took a few drinks then started to play with the water. Kit let them. She looked up at the sky to the sun, yet it was covered by clouds. Yet she had a feeling it was noon. A glance to the little ones she decided to get the three of them something to eat. She looked at the lake and knew what's better to eat something than fish at a place like this. However she found the lake was too vast to go and find fish, there must be a river for the fish to travel. In her mind she relayed what she had thought about the landscape now. She had traveled near Lake Lorigara and they are on its right side. So that would mean the river closest to them is at the west. Stay here, she ordered them. If you see any kind of danger hide in the woods nearby and wait till I come back. They nodded and she walked off as they continued to play. Again Kit looked out at the lake and thought again that something was odd about it. She looked more carefully, being more cautious to her steps. The furred sceather realized that there was steam in the middle of the lake, hot steam. It was nearly gone now but still there. What on earth could have caused that? Dragons with fire element can't breathe their fire and create steam that hot and intense, she could feel it as she could feel the trees energies. Kit has mastered energy completely, there for she can sense all kinds of energies in this world. Life energy and magic energy, even element energy she can sense. Kitakyushu stopped, she closed her eyes and concentrated, there were dragons here. No where near the children though. Yet they were where she was going. Just a few tree lengths away from the river. Kit could even smell them from here. She opened her eyes, two males and one female. To the river she leaped across and decided to see what this was about. She normally doesn't get involved in things like this but she has little information about what is happening in these lands. Kit had heard few rumors that Selzar is under attack by monsters, yet she did not see any so far, plus she wants to know where the Clans are and that. She paused and found a few lengths away there was the female, she could smell her fear scent in the air from here. Kit doesn't want to frighten the female and thought about walking on the shore. She turned back to the river, looked at the right place where she could sense the fish were and were about to travel too. Her foster parents taught her how to fish when young. Told her that never to strike a fish where it is but where it is going. And to do that you have to think like the fish and know their movements. No matter how strong her energy magic is, she would never be able to use it to tell the future. How she knew where it was going was pure skill and practice. With her paw she made her strike and it flew out of the water. Kit grabbed it with her sharp fangs and bit down hard on where its gills were, killing it instantly. If she had lessened her grip the fish would have had a slow suffocating death, however she bit hard enough to break the tough bones inside and crush its brain so it would die instantly. It was a big one too, about five feet long. With it in her mouth she traveled to the shore and came to the clearing a few lengths away from the three dragons. She dropped her catch on the rocks, her feet covered in water. You males are so stupid sometimes. She remarked upon hearing what the males said to try and reassure the female. |

Nia Gara looked between the male dragon, and then to the female dragon, wondering if they knew each other. Or maybe if they were mates. She took a few more steps back untill she couldn't anymore. She had started to shake gently and she was holding her breath a bit untill she had to. She was looking from the three dragons and she shut her eyes and tried to remain calm. 'Is this how they felt? My family, when they were captured? Surrounded by none but strange dragons?' she thought, fear taking over her emotions. She looked down as as she spoke out loud, "So you three know one another, I take it?" She knew her voice had quivered, and she felt foolish for letting others know she was scared. She looked around to the other dragons, hoping that they wouldn't smell her fear. She glanced at the lake, seeing the water gently float to the shore. She kept stairing at it until someone spoke. |

Zil'caron could still sense a feeling unease coming from the voice of the black dragoness that was in front of them. It was obvious that she didn't feel comfortable around them. He wasn't sure why. His size definitely wasn't something that was threatening, and the only thing that may be of an issue would be the steam on the water. He looked at the other male next to him, and even though he was a lot larger, it was obvious he was not violent. Perhaps it was just the unusual circumstances that led things to be. When he saw another dragoness land, he himself started to feel uneasy. The words of the female made him agitated, and with the way he felt right now he wasn't going to keep quiet. And I see that some females are as rude as everyone else to go around and instantly insult every dragon that she comes across. he told her abruptly in a crude tone. He didn't care what she thought about him and after today he probably would never see her again. It wouldn't hurt his feelings if he hurt her with his words either. A dragoness as rude as she was deserved a wake up call about reality. Not everyone is perfect and that includes herself and if she didn't want to admit it, wasn't his place, but he wasn't going to be talked down on. When he heard the other female asked if they knew each other, his voice changed. He knew that she was still scared of them and to use a harsh tone in conversation with her wouldn't help. He may have not been the smartest male, but he knew how to talk to females and at least make them feel comfortable when he wanted them to. No miss, we don't know each other. It seems that our ancestors have led us on this trail in such a way that our paths have crossed. Why I cannot say, however I know that by them having done so it has allowed us to meet some new individuals even if some of them are ruder than others. he spoke turning his head back to the other dragoness that was on the bank. |

Kitakyushu watched as the three dragons turned to look at her. The tall silver male said nothing, looking rather nervous and sad. The other male, the black and gold male was agitated and looking at her rather frustratedly. Kit could care less about the them. Jaruk watched as the three dragons talked and felt like a huge outsider. He doesn't seem to be able to fit in with anyone. He looked at the black dragoness. No matter how much he seemed to try to cheer her up he only makes it worse. Maybe it would be better if he just left. Listen, I'm sorry to bother you all but I think I should leave. He said turning around, he spoke half to himself and half to the others. I was foolish to think I could fit in. Jaruk began to walk away slowly, he turned his head to the side slightly and looked back at the black dragoness. She looked rather beautiful, of course all the dragonesses he comes to meet even that rude cream brownish white dragoness looked beautiful. Yet the black one looked special, maybe there was something in her eyes that made her so. Jaruk looked away. Edited by Tempest, Dec 21 2010, 02:13 AM.

Nia Gara looked from the two male dragons to the female dragon. She listened to the smaller male dragon speak. And I see that some females are as rude as everyone else to go around and instantly insult every dragon that she comes across. He had apperently just heard her question, and he ansered, No miss, we don't know each other. It seems that our ancestors have led us on this trail in such a way that our paths have crossed. Why I cannot say, however I know that by them having done so it has allowed us to meet some new individuals even if some of them are ruder than others Nia Gara nodded slightly, growing more confused by the moment. She looked over to the female, who nudged a fish closer to her. Here, you can have this, the female said. To the smaller male, the female said, I only said you were stupid, you couldn't see that you were frightening this girl even more with her badgering. But who cares about that, I just came over here to know what is going on around here. I want to know if my children will be able to live here. "U-um! Please, I'm alright! And I'm sure it's a safe for your children to live here," Nia Gara said, speaking up in a clear vioce. But then she heard the tall, beautiful dragon speak. Listen, I'm sorry to bother you all but I think I should leave. He turned, mumbling to himself, I was foolish to think I could fit in. She saw him turn back. She didn't know why, but there was something different about this male dragon. When he turned away, she took a few steps torawds him. "N-no! Please don't go! she said suddenly, hoping the dragon would turn back around. Though she was somewhat scared if he did turn around. She'd have no reason as to why she stopped him from leaving. She hoped he wouldn't be irritated with her. "It isn't your fault, or yours," she added, nodding towards the black and gold male, "for why I act the way I act around dragons I don't know. And thank you," she said to the female, "for the fish. But please, come back," she pleaded, sounding somewhat despreat. |

Zil'caron took a moment to let everything sink into his mind. The other female was still a bit wary of everyone. The fact that they had reassured her and that she was still timid and skiddish meant that something had happened to her in the past. Possible by others that she did not know and had made her be wary of others. In this land, that wouldn't be unheard of unfortunately. While the clans were nice here, many of the dragons alone in the wild were not. There were dragons that hunted and fed on others, and there were others that wanted nothing more to breed with any female that they came across. I have no intentions of harming you or any of your young. However, with that being said, I'm not going to guarantee that they can live here safely. The only guaranteed safety that you have is going to be with a clan as it is with any lands. The rouge dragons here are just like anywhere else. They are looking for something to hurt or scar, and most of the males are just looking for a place to lay their seed. If you want guaranteed safety, I recommend joining a clan. I don't mean to sound frightful, that's just how it is. Pure and simple, he told the other white dragoness. He knew his words wouldn't be any comfort to the ebony dragoness on the shoreline, but the whit dragoness asked a question and he gave the honest correct answer rather than sugarcoating everything. Especially since she mentioned that she had young. The inner lands wasn't any place to try to raise them. There were too many dangers and too many predators outside of the clan lands for young to remain safe for very long. He turned to the other male that was turning to leave. As soon as he did the other more polite dragoness yelled for him to stay. He heard her then say that it wasn't his fault or the other dragon's fault that she had been acting the way that she was. As he had suspected it was something else from the past. She didn't admit it, but it was the only conclusion to come to. Indeed, leaving won't be necessary. While we may not have met each other under the best of circumstances, there is no sense in leaving under them, he told them laying down where he stood in the water. The waves rippled over his body as small as it was, and even in the shallows, he wings floated along the top with only his neck emerging from the water. He decided to do something to do something to help lighten the mood, and arched his neck up, generating flames within his maw and shooting a fireball up into the air. It flew up into the air a way before starting to fall and exploding. Using his fire magic, he made ti explode into the shape similar to the fish that the other dragoness had brought over. Hopefully that will help lighten things up a bit. he said with a soft laugh at the pun hoping that it actually did help everyone calm down and be a bit more friendly to each other. |

The Hidden Past

The breeze picked up a bit and the long hair strands on his forehead danced with the wind, moving out of his face. Jaruk could hear the whispers in the wind, speaking in his ears. He couldn't understand what the wind was trying to say but it made his heart light as a feather. Jaruk loves the wind, it is his greatest element, one he uses most of the time, but it wasn't simply his element. To him it was also his ally and friend. It seemed to be his only friend in this world. N-no! Please don't go! Jaruk stopped, surprised to hear that. He turned his head around, body locked in place. His green eyes blinked when he noticed it was Nia Gara who had spoke out. The silver dragon just stood there, surprised. It isn't your fault, or yours, she added to the gold and black male. For why I act the way I act around dragons I don't know. And thank you, she said her gratitude to the the whitish brown dragoness. The other dragoness looked at her and dipped her head to show her welcome instead of simply saying it. Jaruk blinked and thought he should remember that, body language is another important thing it seems, not just words. He has got to learn more about that, maybe if he does dragons would be less wary of him. For the fish. But please, come back. She pleaded desperately. He blinked, he looked into her eyes and thought how beautiful she was. With the black and violet colors on her body. Jaruk blinked when he heard the other male speak. Indeed, leaving won't be necessary. While we may not have met each other under the best of circumstances, there is no sense in leaving under them, he said politely. Alright, I'll stay, he replied, looking softly at the black and violet dragoness. The black and gold male lifted his head and did some little fire magic trick and mumbled to himself afterward. Jaruk thought about lying down to make everyone less wary of his size. He didn't say to them that he was happy that they didn't want him to leave. That means that they are not as afraid of him as he thought. Even the other female nodded when he lied down to show she would like him to stay as well but it was small and hard for anyone to notice. But he did, he's good at noticing things. Jaruk looked up when he heard the whitish brown female dragon speaking to the black and gold male dragon. She waited for the others to answer her. Kita nodded and opened her maw to speak when she heard the loner finally speak. She watched him turn and watched as the other female begged him to stay. The whitish brown fur sceather looked at the tall silver male. She was interested of him, he looked unsure, lost but his body didn't seem that way in this area but relaxed and accepting the life around him. His eyes, his green eyes spoke of his feelings deep inside, he was lost in himself, not sure who he is... It's so strong she could smell the energy in her nose. It twitched. Even the black and gold male said it was alright with him for the tall male to stay. Kita saw the silver tall male look at her and she dipped her head gently, small and hardly noticeable but the silver male noticed it and finally said he will stay. Her ruby red colored eyes turned on the other male who used his fire magic to lighten the tension around here. She waited and finally took a paw forward to the black and gold male. I'm sure you wont. I can sense other than the strength of your magic that you have a good spirit. I can see it in your eyes as well. Kitakyushu learned to harness the energy element even further than other dragons with the element seem to realize. Who would know that energy could be really effective if you learn to master it completely. She worked especially hard on mastering this element when she realized what it can do on the times where she beginning to be able to sense energies around her. This way she will be able to know who to trust and who not to. I'm not surprised about the rouge dragons either. I can see you belong to a Clan and you seem to know these lands rather well. So could you tell me about the Clans if its not so much trouble that is. |

Alright, I'll stay, the tall dragon said, looking softly at Nia Gara. She smiled slightly, relieved that he wouldn't be leaving. She noticed that he had a look in his eyes, thinking about laying down, which he did. It didn't make him seem so close together now, that he was laying down. For some reason, she felt it rude to stay standing, so she lied down and wrapped her tail around her, something she often did when she were around others. "Thank you," she said to the tall dragon, "for not leaving." She still didn't know their names, and she was feeling a little foolish for knowing them by their color. Though, for an odd reason she couldn't explain, she felt rather safe around the three dragons she had only just met. There was no reason to the feeling, only the noticing that it was there. It was strong when she looked to the female and the black and gold dragon, but it increased a great deal when she looked towards the larger silverish male. She heard the female talk, but it was mainly towards the others. Nia Gara rested her chin on her paws in front of her, and she just listened. She was talking about the clans, wishing to know about them. She only glanced at the black and gold dragon, wondering if he were going to answer her or not. Apparently the other female was new to these parts, and Nia Gara had only thought of that. She was too caught up with the larger male leaving, and the black and gold dragon trying to 'lighten up the mood.' |

Zil'caron lay in the water once his magic dispersed. The flames whisped in the winds as the blew through the remnants of the butterfly that he had made in the air. The soft ripples caressed his body gently as the washed over in a relaxing up-down pattern. The white female with the brown on her shoulders spoke to him some more as she watched the magic erase itself from existence as well. It was obvious that she sought more from him in the others. looking at how the others were acting. All three of them were new to the lands, and obviously the sceathered one had young. He turned to her to listed to the words that she spoke catching that the other female had thanked the loaner male for staying. I try to keep my self held high, but with the way some things have gone recently, staying in high spirit can be difficult at best, he told her moving to some of the shallower waters. As far as information about the lands, I'm afraid I don't know a whole lot outside this area and the lands of my clan. With the things that I've heard about some regions, I try to stay best in my own territory. I know for a fact that there are four clans here in these lands. The clan that I am in, which is Juthivar, is located in the southern most part of the continent. the Alphess there, as like with at least two of the other three clans are very nice. I can't speak for the leaders of the coastal clan. I have never met them, but I have seen members from both Furick which lies in the mountains to the east, and Kukirion which make their home in the deserts in the north are all really nice. I would presume that the coastal ones are similar, but they spend a lot of time in the water on the coast. They rarely come inland. As far as this area here, this is the Selicarian lake, and a about twenty dragon-lengths away in that direction, he told them pointing at the water's surface to the north. Is what we have called the Selicarian caves. They are made out of pure crystal and hold an arcane illuminant that never diminishes. To the immediate south lies the volcano that I just came from. I was in it to make sure that the thing that had been destroying our lands was actually dead, and not just hiding within the magma chamber. I figured that I was able to survive the volcano when it erupted so being able to go through the magma without any problems would be easy. I still took some burns on my wings though, so I might have started to stay a bit too long there. Unfortunately though, that is pretty much all of the information that I have on the lands other than random rogues that like I mentioned try to pass through and try to impregnate a random female that happen to come across their path Zil'caron finished. For being a in the lands for as long as he had he still did not know everything to know about them, and he doubt that he ever would. to constantly know every single small detail of what is happening through out an entire land was something that he was never good at and in his opinion was deemed impossible. This was of course why he was not the leader of any clan, and his moderate lack in size was another solid reason for it as well. It was obvious though at this point none of the dragons here were hostile, so no point in remaining on his guard and he waited for a response from whom ever was listening. |

She listened to the black and gold dragon, her gaze hard. Kita began to worry about her daughters, she has been gone longer than she thought she would. She taught them how to avoid danger but still. They do need her and in some ways she needs them. He kept on going. She ignored the other two dragons, and anxiousness for her children grew. Still she needs to stay and get the information she needs. As far as this area here, this is the Selicarian lake, and a about twenty dragon-lengths away in that direction, I was in it to make sure that the thing that had been destroying our lands was actually dead, and not just hiding within the magma chamber. Unfortunately though, that is pretty much all of the information that I have on the lands other than random rogues that like I mentioned try to pass through and try to impregnate a random female that happen to come across their path Kita simply nodded and got turned around, dipping her heads to the three dragons. I thank you for what information you have given me. Now you will excuse me I must head back, I don't want to stay away too long from my daughters. Kita turned and walked away. Jaruk watched the black dragoness as she lied down after him. "Thank you," Nia Gara said to him, for not leaving. Jaruk smiled softly. The black and gold male started speaking, Jaruk was half curious so he only half listened. He edged his head away, closer to Nia. I don't remember if I introduced myself or not, but my name is Jaruk, he whispered to her. |

Nia Gara listened as the black and gold dragon spoke, trying to make herself smaller. She never really liked when she was surrounded by dragons she couldn't tell were dangerous or not. Though, she didn't feel that way around the large male dragon. She felt a little anxious being around another female. She always felt as if she'd be talked down to. She could tell, however, that the other female was anxious. For what, she presumed was for children. She couldn't blame her, though. Not knowing new lands nor new dragons with your young probably not as old as you wish them to be could be dangerous. She heard the female say, I thank you for what information you have given me. Now you will excuse me I must head back, I don't want to stay away too long from my daughters. She turned and walked away from the group. I wonder if we'll ever met her again, Nia Gara wondered. She noticed that the large dragon had smiled softly at her after she thanked him for not leaving. He seemed only half interested into what the black and gold dragon's words as he was speaking, though, so she watched as he moved his head closer to her. I don't remember if I introduced myself or not, but my name is Jaruk, he whispered to her. Nia Gara smiled at him, thinking to herself, What a beautiful name. It's a pleasure to meet you, Jaruk, Nia Gara whispered back. She glanced at the other male dragon who had been speaking the whole time to the other dragoness. She looked back at Jaruk, asking, Do you think we'll see the other dragoness again? Or if we'll ever learn the male's name? She had always been curious by heart, but at a moment like this, she didn't know if she should ask out of curiosity or if she should be careful in who she runs into next time she is alone. |

Zil'caron remained quiet as everyone around him exchanged other bits of information and watched and nodded as the female thanked him for the information and started to head back towards her young. After watching her walk away he turned and watched the other two that were still in the Area. The one named Nia and the other named Jaruk started talking to each other and introducing each other and ti reminded him of the fact that he had yet to introduce himself yet. He just managed to catch the female asking if they would ever find out his name and Zil'caron just smiled. My name is Zil'caron. I am a scout of Juthivar, second in command actually among scouts. For the most part what I told her holds true, and for the most part, I haven't seen anything out of that volcano in a while. he told them as the memories of him getting shot out of it the first time after they had tracked the Jorthian to there. He looked to the other two dragons and he laid back down in the water still trying to cool off from his latest trip into the magma pit. For now at least it appears everything will be safe for a while around here. I'll have to keep making visits temporarily though so I can monitor the volcano to make sure that if and when it erupts or gets read to erupt, we can get word to the other clans to make sure that all dragons stay clear of the plains for a while. Fortunately it's quite stable at the moment, so we won't have to worry about that for a while. he told them truthfully as he had literally just left the center of it. Anyway, where are the two of you from? Kukiron or Furick? I don't recognize any of you from Juthivar, though I'm still relatively new myself so I don't know everyone there yet either, he asked wanted to find out more about the dragons around him and see if they were dangerous or not. He pretty much already knew the answer though. With as nervous as and Jaruk both were, he knew that neither of them would be aggressive in anyway so hen was hoping that it would just lead to some gentle conversation to get to know them a bit better. |
