Name: Zethura Dragon Type: Western Dragon Age: 32 Gender: Female Clan: Bahiri Clan position desired: Alphess Desired Magic: Water-Mastered Healing-Mastered Electricity-Mastered Appearance: Zethura is a 28 foot tall powerhouse of a female dragon. She is muscular but slim, with a wingspan of about 56 to 57 feet. Her wings are leathery and thin to give her more mobility in the water and in the air. Her head is adorned with four horns, two larger ones with two smaller onces in front of them. They are a deep obsidian with a slight curve at the ends, dipping then turning back towards the sky. Between her horns is a mane of fur that is straight and silky, but waterproof. The fur goes from gold at the tips, to green, to blue, to pink close to her body. This fur is longest at it's beginning at the middle of her forehead, then gradually gets shorter as it makes it's way down her back and to the mid-point of her tail. This same fur also adorns the back of her front legs from her ankles to about her elbows. Zethura has pointed ears that sit at each side of her face behind her horns, a single circular earring the color of the sea hanging from both of her ears. Two horns thinner but much like the others on her head, sit on the back of her jaw underneath her ears curving up slightly to point at the sky. Zethura has other horns the same color as her blue-green body on her neck from large, to medium, to small in a row beside her mane on each side. Speaking of her scale color, her scales are a beautiful mix of sea-green and the color of the blue sky. Depending on the light, she may look more blue or more green, but mainly she is a blue-green. Zethura is built for the way, with large obsidian claws and long toes with retractable webbing for swimming. She has a set of gills on her neck, but she has the ability to breath both underwater and while she is on land. Zethura prefers the water because her scales are flat to allow better movement and less resistance, so she can fly under the sea as if she were flying above the water. Her wing membrane is a bright ivory, and slightly see through so she can disappear while she is in the darkest of waters. A unique trait about Zethura is the golden beads that trail down her neck down her legs and ribs and down the thickest part of her rutter like tail. These beads actually glow in the dark and while she's in the water, if she wants to be seen of course. These beads glow a bright gold and light up the water or air around her. She also has a set of three beads on each side of her head, complimenting her bright green eyes. Zethura has mysterious eyes that are nothing but a sea-green hue with flecks of blue, not a pupil in sight. She can see underwater quite well with a special eyelid that covers her eyes when she is underwater, much like a crocodile. Zethura's last interesting trait is her tail. The tip of her tail is adorned with three slightly curled appendages that look much like flower petals or sea grass. This she uses as a fan when she wants to create wind or while she's in the water to kick up a current or to help her in motor functions while she's underwater. Personality: Zethura is a gentle soul, but has a terrible temper. She is very protective and will fight to the death if it means protecting the ones she loves or her clan. The years she spent alone with her small family outside of Selzar had changed her forever. Zethura can come off sometimes sound like a bitch to dragons she doesn't know, but tends to warm up quickly if she can trust them. As like most females, she has a huge soft spot for young ones. Surprisingly Zethura has never had young, even though she is already 32 years old in dragons years of course.Though she has never bred, Zethura wants to breed and have kids someday with a male dragon she knows she can trust and love for eternity. She has yet to find him. Zethura is fairly wise for her age, and tends to tell stories to the young dragons of the clan about her days before coming to Selzar. All of them respect and love her almost like a grandmother, which she hates because it makes her feel old. A lot of her inner personality and emotion is usually locked away. The only thing anyone in the clan sees is a loving smile and wise passionate eyes. Zethura's past still tends to haunt her even though she is in a loving clan and safe for the most part. History: Zethura was born on the fleeting outskirts of Selzar. She lived just within the clan territory but her small family was never caught. Her mother was a beautiful dragoness, and her father a sapphire giant. Both her parents were water dragons, but her mother was adapt to both the land and the sea while her father was mostly land but could swim very well. Zethura was the only surviving child of 4, most of them dying before birth when a storm hit. One of the downfalls to living without a clan, you are never safe from rouges or the elements. Zethura began to grow into a mature young female, learning how to use her elemental traits from her mother and father. She learned how to heal wounds and broken wings from her mother who was a wonderful healer and could of been an Alphess with her skills. The clan dragons had never found them until a rouge came into the area. The rouges attacked Zethura and her family, viciously ripping at her parents as they awoke to pain and the roars of Zethura who was pinned by another dragon who was obviously male. The male licked her sea-green and light blue cheek smelling the cave taking the scents of the two females within it. Her mother was in heat again but Zethura was just young enough to fly, so she had not gone into heat quite yet. Her father roared at the two dragons, standing in front of his mate trying to protect her from getting raped by the two rouges. Fortunately, the roars and cries for help got to two scouts who were from the neighboring clan. They came quickly but it was too late. The rouges ganged up on her father, killing him but not before he almost ripped open one of the dragons' throat and breaking the wings of the other. The scouts were able to great rid of them quickly, killing the one with the broken wings and chasing the other out of the territory. Zethura's mother was safe thankfully, and Zethura herself escaped with only a gash on her side from the claws of the rouges. The scouts took the two dragons back to their clan which was Bahiri. The current Alphess and Alpha accepted the two into their clan, only for her mother to get sick a week later. Zethura learned a lot of what she knows today from the other dragons in the clan and the Alphess, who was much like a grandmother to her. Zethura's mother passed away about a month after joining the clan of Bahiri, losing her fight to live. Zethura was devastated but on that day, made a vow to continue on and protect those she loved and the clan with her life so no dragon young or old wold have to suffer. Zethura entered the clan at age 13, and has been there ever sense. She became Alphess just recently when the Alpha and Alphess went missing. The new found position made her proud, and happy that her fellow friends and family would chose her for such an honor. Zethura had been a Hunter for many years before becoming the leader of her clan, earning the title from her many years of hard work and serving Bahiri.
